Dave, As Terry pointed out with those quotes, there is the problem.. It's a passing league for one.. but two, this isn't the god damned SEC. This is the NFL. They will make you do what you don't want to do. to reward Terry for his astute info skills, I'll reward him by bringing up 'The Choke' (sorry Terry).. but Frank Reich for very brief moments of both his college and pro football career was the greatest QB who ever lived... But could he do it every day? No.. In this league, they will take away his ability to run, and more important, they'll cut his career short with the pounding he'll take trying to run so much. How long do RBs last in this league? The bottom line... great guy, terrible passer. It's a shame he wasn't a pro 50 years ago because he really would have been an NFL Hall of Famer then.. but that could be said for a few guys as well.
Tebow may not have the best passing percentage.....may throw some ugly ducks in July and cause the OC to scowl.....but when the game is on the line he doesn't throw the int. but rather tucks it under when a WR isn't open and runs for the critical first down.... and gets the win. Intangibles......
When he was with the Gators that's what happened...you seem to be confused about what has happened in the NFL.
That playoff game after Pittsburgh tells you everything you need to know about Tebow as a QB in the NFL.
Tebow won two games at Denver as the QB....without even attempting one pass in the 4th quarter of those two games. I guess that is confounding to many..... if not confusing. AJ.... did you see that game? The Denver defense collapsed early on vs. the onslaught of Tom Brady and the NE offense. 35 to 7 PATS... at the half.
Yes, I saw the game. Denvers Defense had nothing to do with the performance of Tebow against a good defense.
Well.....Tim did miss a few tackles while the Pats were enroute to an insurmountable 35-7 halftime lead.  No wonder he can't land on some team's defensive roster at present. 8) Nice avatar by the way.
