It is being reported on CNN that T O attempted suicide by overdose of perscription pain killers. He is still in a Dallas hospital being treated.
Police are not confirming or denying the fats in this case. However, it was confirmed that the Dallas Fire Department was treating TO and called for Police to report to the scene. I can tell you that there are two reasons for Fire Dept personnel to request Police to come to the scene. The first is to protect personnel. The second is to investigate suspicious circumstnces. It appears that the second reason applies here. HIPPA laws limit what the police, fire department, and hospital can release to the public. Speculation will probably be the only source of information from this point forward.
This guy is a cancer, I can't believe the Cowboys even signed him. But that said, suicide attempt or reaction to medication or whatever I hope he recovers.
Real men put a bullet in their brain, turn on the car in the garage or hang themselves. Women and those that want attention take pills. This guy hadn't seen his name on ESPN in 2 days and decided to get attention. I can't wait until he returns to Philly. They should flood the field with knock-off Rolexes (it's a suicide watch)
This guy gets way to much attention on espn etc. His hip injury was like a Breaking News story and got tons of publicity. Thats why watching those espn shows unless their showing football highlights is pointless. Its either the life of terrell owens or 30 minute reports on the yanks and redsox..... when everyone outside of those two cities could care less. The red sox didnt make the playoffs. While.... The Yanks continue to buy there team, and still lose. Whats New??
WHOA!!! Hold on there Mr Swampwater!!!! There is a reason Redsox get so much coverage on ESPN..They are Americas team!! Ever see a visiting ballpark when Sox are playing there? Its almost 25% Red Sox fans...and in some cities like Tampa, Toronto, and all of the AL WEST cities it runs even higher!! Who do you want ESPN to talk about The Marlins? LOL :!: :!: jif
Well to be quite honest with you, they are a much better story.Dont try to deny it  . Im not big with baseball, but i root for all the florida teams.
I do agree with you 100% about the Red Sox popularity. They are probably the only team in baseball that can out number the fans of a home team while they are on the road.
I know...the anticipation is killing me  As for baseball.. Being a Devil Rays fan dosent give you much to root for
Swamp Thing, The Yankees are the #1 draw in baseball. Nobody else can touch them. And they are cheered everywhere they go except Boston, where you here mainly moans and groans. Happy to clear up your misconceptions  p.s . They're putting the wood to the Orioles right now, 8-2.
I wouldnt say they are cheered everywhere except Boston. Most people, especially baseball people, dislike the yankees and root for them to lose. They do have a rich history, but you must find it a little bit sad that they continue to just throw out money and get anyone they want....and still continue to fail. Btw who won the 03 WC?......The heart of a team will always prevail Go Gators!!! I'll be there to watch them kick some Bama A$$
It's really a great thing to be a participant in this forum, where sports fans from different backgrounds can discuss things in a scholarly, reflective, polite, and friendly way without the usual trite and rude comments. The Yankees suck.
Or where due to advanced age of most posters the topics start on something like suicide and end with Yankee's suck!! Talk about thread drift!!
