Walking off the 9th green and not finishing the tournament is not going to be very good for his public relations. Definitely having a bad day at seven over par, but not very professional in my opinion. He is going to draw a ton of criticism.
And he should draw a lot of criticism. That's extremely unprofessional, people and sponsors pay him a lot of money to go out and give it his best go...sure sometimes you don't have it but you take it like a man and finish the job.
DOC!! The kids Wisdom teeth were kicking his ass....YOU OF ALL PEOPLE should show some compassion....
He probably hates that Nike Equipment he sold his soul for. He claims he had a toothache. Maybe the tour needs a full time dentist. Any volunteers?
And here I was wondering what I could do in my retirement!! Be the tour dentist! Hey he claims he has no feelings for Ireland and feels British...we all know about dental care in the UK...so fook him!
Yes. It restricted his freedom. (Sorry, Godfather. I couldn't resist. I hope you think it's funny.)
    you guys should really take this show on the road... and now Terry, usually its Joco and Gipper w. help from Sid and Tom and oh yes AJ.
If he was really experiencing pain (wisdom tooth) why did he not mention this to the reporters? I still think it was a bad decision.
Today, many are questioning the wisdom of his withdrawal and are trying to extract more information from him. This certainly will impact his public image.
