2013 NASCAR

Any of you guys want to get into that league and want me to split the fee/winnings with you... I'd be glad to do that. However, if you miss a week from not posting your drivers, I send my ambassador over to see you.

 

I like the money leagues and do them for baseball and football. However I am more more knowledgable about those sports and have historically done fairly well.

However I don't know the racing all that well and have historically done poorly even in the other years when I didn't miss entries.

Tom if you want to split with me knowing that I would probably give it a shot.

Also I never miss my weekly lineups in those leagues. Last year was a mess. I joined early and as I recall I couldn't get my team then. I forgot that I didn't have a team until after about three weeks.

I did do well in segment 2 though.

Tom, I noticed that the qualifying positions were not posted this morning. Then I saw that the deadline for picking drivers is 1:25 pm on Feb 24, 5 minutes before the start of the race. This is a radical departure from the past. Why is this?

 

I'm in. Somebody has to end up last. My guess is that it will be me...

 

What's the over/under on how many laps Danica will go before she crashes? :lol:

 

Where do you enter the group ID ? It looks like a generic sign up.

 

Click on "Join a Group" You can create your team first and join a group after you have your team in place. Let me know if this doesn't help and I post more details.

Tom, I'm re-posting an earlier post, hoping that you can shed some light on what appears to be a departure from past deadlines:

 

Pretty sure this is only for Daytona. From what I gathered in qualifying, there will be some of the back positions determined by qualifying sprint races. I can't find that anywhere in print.

Highly unusual that we are allowed to select our 8 drivers after qualifying. I have a feeling that week two will be back to the norm. However, if it stays looking like it is now, it appears we will only have 5 minutes before the race to select our 4 active drivers.

Let me do some research after work today.

 

I just found this in a Yahoo! article on Patrick's pole qualification:

 

That is what I heard during qualifying. So we should be able to select our 4 starters aon Friday or late Thursday.
