    Bobda,

that one hurt....I thought we were gonna be able to sneak out of there with a W. Great, great game and two outstanding teams. I truly enjoy watching Burke and Craft compete against one another.....they clearly look forward to the challenge......it's an extraordinary match-up and it was only fitting it came down to them at the end. After the Craft steal late in regulation followed by Burke's play at the defensive end to deny Craft the layup, I sensed karma had just changed into maize pj's.....

Heartbreaker in one sense, but also very promising to see some of our youngsters show they can step up when necessary, particularly Ross and Williams. This team will need them to play productive minutes come tourney time and it they continue to develop, I agree we will be a tough out in the tourney.

Hardaway was extraordinary, Burke was Burke but I was very impressed with the big white kid in the middle. He's got game and makes all those weapons on the perimeter even better.

It is very likely that we will meet again.....best of 3?

I have been watching Michigan games with Crazy John all year and have told him that McGary is the man. He might not be as individually athletic and talented as the big three (Hardaway, Robinson, Burke) but they are interchangeable cogs. He really adds pezazz when he is in there.

Tough loss. Both teams played great. I would have felt worse about the no-call on Craft at the end, but I think maybe we got a break just prior to that when they didn't call a flagrant on us.

Agreed on all counts.....I didn't expect to win this one but it sure as hell would have been a bonus and they played well enough to win in most instances. Hardaway just went nuts....without him sharpshooting, it would have gotten away from them.

Big game coming up this week in Columbus, gotta hold serve at home.

I wasn't concerned with who won, but I kinda was hoping OSU would pull it out. I actually was surprised when the refs chose not to make the flagrant call. To me, it did not look accidental, but at the same time, it seemed out of character for Craft. Maybe that's what the refs decided.

At the end, IMO Craft clearly was fouled on the way up, but the refs chose not to end the game that way. Such is life.......right, Jim (Harbaugh)?

I had cataract surgery on my right eye on Monday; Left eye next Monday.

With my repaired eye, it seemed that the color of our uniforms and shoes were "Highlighter Yellow" rather than maize which is a deeper color, closer to gold in shade. Definetly put my new eye's ability to deal with brightness to a maximum test.

Without Hardaway playing out of his mind in the second half, the Bucks probably would have won comfortably.

Good luck against the Hoosiers. It would be fun to watch Crean do another "blow-by" handshake with Matta after a loss. Maybe the extended family practices that handshake when they meet during the holidays.

Just completed my second eye two weeks ago Bobda.

    So far....so very good.

Had about 70% vision loss in my left eye due to a Cataract and lousy vision in the right also.

Never had script glasses in my life but for reading I was at the highest power before the surgery and it was not getting it done and I had drugstore glasses for distance also which were useless anyway on a bright sunny day with the glare.

Had 20-150 vision in the left eye and 20-100 in the right eye before....and now after it's 20-20 in the left and 20-25 in the right and I do not wear glasses at all.....which is very surprising.

My out of pocket expense of $4200.00 seems like a bargain if this level of success and improvement can be sustained.

    Good luck to you......

    Thanks Dave,

My night vision had deteriorated the point where, even with new glasses that corrected my vison to 20/40, I was unable to clearly read roadsigns, etc.

I figured that I better get the surgery done before the next SB gathering
( paging HFHM) since I was pretty sure that my two passengers did not want to chauferred around by a blind Michigan fan.

    1. Highlighter Yellow....I thought the same thing when I tuned in to watch some of the game. But with all the crazy uniforms that colleges do these days it's pretty much par for the course. Baylor had some uniforms that were also a long way from traditional last year for the NCAA's.

    2. Bobda's Vision....man I thought it was odd he kept asking Stu and I where to turn but I thought it was mainly lack of familiarity with the area...scary to think it was really he couldn't see where to turn!! :) Glad to hear you are getting things fixed. I have had a number of friends/patients get the new lens inserts they use now and all experience what you guys are finding out...much better vision!

IU was up 10-14 points throughout the 2nd half until the last 2-3 minutes. As an IU fan, I'm very concerned about the weaknesses shown in the collapse. Illinois is not a good enough team to have earned the comeback. They were aided by IU's collapse at both ends of the floor. With Ohio State coming up and several more challenging road games, this IU team is in trouble.

Sid, it will be interesting to see how both teams respond....Hoosiers losing a heartbreaker after a major collapse against a very inconsistent Illinois and the Buckeyes playing a valiant and gutty game on the road against their arch-rival only to fall just short in a controversial ending.....I like our chances at home, but I think it will be a war

Sid, I didn't see the game but read that the Illinis just rained a bunch of 3's in a row and couldn't miss. You can close a lot of ground quickly that way. In the Michigan-OSU game Hardaway couldn't miss from outside the arc against OSU, and if we pulled the D out McGary was right there inside.

Stu, yes, they caught up via the 3-ball, but IU 1) made no adjustment to go out and get the shooters, and 2) went into a pass-around offense as if they were trying to win via the clock. I'm in no position to criticize the coaching, and I won't, but the team just plain collapsed in the last two minutes while Illinois got hot from the arc. The inbound play with .9 seconds left was a killer. The Illinois player was wide open under the basket for a catch and shoot.

Great game, tough loss for M. I agree with dakich, both coaches screwed the pooch by notfouling prior and allowing those huge shots.......dumb and dumber, imo

There's no question in my mind that the Bucks have the upper hand today. I don't know how the Hoosiers can recover from the devastating loss to Illinois. We're doomed.

Sid, nothing would surprise me this afternoon. This game could go either way. Crean has done a wonderful job at Indiana. I trust the fans appreciate his efforts.
