Thanks Tom and others... considering some of the starters that were gone from last year, I thought it could be a similar year to 2010 for Bama. But, I think the guys that did return played very well, and I think some guys really did a solid job coming in and replacing those departing starters. Also, although it didn't go their way last night, a great year for Notre Dame. It was nice to see two schools with such tradition play each other. Roll Tide..
Technically speaking, can a Marine have 'shipmates'...don't you have to be fellow Navy guys like kp and I?
Terry, We had Marines on each carrier I was on (3 of them). I have had Marines correct me and say they preferred to be called "Marine" vice "shipmate". In my mind "shipmate" referred to anyone who I might go to sea with, so Marines would be included.
