Of course that's the stat you want to go by today; it supports your viewpoint today. Next time, when it doesn't, you won't put any credit to it.

Let's look at how much ******** that statisic is and compare Florida's schedule:
Bowling Green, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU, Vanderbilt, S. Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, ULaLa, Jacksonville St., FSU which I think comes out to an opponent W/L of 94-51, or 0.648.

Let's say I schedule Bethune-Cook, C. Arkansas, Cal Poly, Coastal Carolina, E. Washington, Georgia Southern, Illinois St., ND St., New Hampshire, Sam Houston St., South Dakota St., Stony Brook which I think comes out to an opponent W/L of 114-33, or 0.775.

According to your viewpoint, this second team had a much harder schedule than Florida did.

W/L, as I have previously TRIED to show you, and again in this ridiculous example, MEANS NOTHING without examining against whom those trumped up wins were given. Everyone agrees Florida had one of the tougher schedules in the SEC this year, but the SEC schedule (with a few notable exceptions) was a joke this year.

Kes....the list that had UF at #1 was shown on ESPN during the nationally televised Orange Bowl ( really.... I had nothing to do with the airing of that list.... honest )..... had Florida's opponents at a .683 winning percentage.

Florida played 8 bowl bound teams in that lot and so far they are 5-2 in their bowl games with the other one left being favored as well.

*gasp* at least you're admitting someone is favored... now if that team manages to lose, I'm sure you'll have some way to retract that..

I believe the Crimson Tide will be the 10th 'bowl team' that ND has played this year.

You know what that means come game time? Jack squat.

I don't think you count the bowl game Corey... if so UF has played 9.

What is the bowl record of the ND opponents?

Let me answer your question with a question. What is Florida's record this season against the Big East?

    I'll answer your question Dave...

ND's opponents are 3-4 with 2 to play.

And just like I said before, it means jack squat come game time.

How did your opponents bowl record help you last night? You can answer that when you're done with Sid's question.

So your bowl opponents aren't really very good you are saying?

Well, Purdue was a bowl team...and there are a hell of a lot of non-bowl teams better than us right now.

Edit...I said that before thinking of the fact that we were one of ND's bowl opponents. I wasn't trying to make that point.

Just sayin' that counting your bowl opponents doesn't really make much sense when half of college football plays in bowls and half of the teams playing in them suck.
