    vs ND.

This play was the 69yd TD pass to Manningham, think maybe the Michigan guy was holding our guy? The score was 7-7 at the time, if they bring that back Mich has to punt, and their next score which was a 27yd drive after the kickoff was fumbled would have never happened. I'm going MCG here and say that it was huge in terms of how the game might have played out, those two plays forced the Irish out of their game plan and allowed UM to pin its ears back to come after Quinn.

Can we appeal for a do over?

How in the world can you predict a what-if scenario based on one, two, even more missed holding calls? It cannot be done. How do you know that TZ would not have fumbled the punt, or that we would not have turned it over from scrimmage, or that something else would not have happened? The list of possible scenarios is truly infinite, some positive, but also some negative.

We lost to a team who kicked our butts on a given day. Yes, we helped them do it, but we did not fight back hard enough to overcome our mistakes. They played much better than we did and (gulp, gasp) they deserved the win, a few noncalled holding penalties notwithstanding.

It's over. Deal with it. Move on......please.

I told you I'd gone MCG on this issue! It's my way of coping! :)

But I do understand what you are saying, I just thought this picture was a good one and it was in Sports Illustrated.

Beat the Spartans....fair and square! :)

No doubt that we got our asses handed to us by M.
This week will probably be a close hard fought game. Non-holding calls could be the difference although we all know that refs don't lose games don't we?

    Trick photography.

He's obviously patting the guy on the back and escorting him calmly to the quarterback since the defender couldn't find the way on his own.

Holding is part of the game... you just have to play through it.....overcome the adversity....be a champion anyway...show a little heart...don't be a crybaby about it...show your superiority over the cheatin bastards. I think by now you know I'm kidding and this is certainly an incriminating photo. Do you know for sure that the refs didn't allow some of the same for ND's OL? Maybe they called the game that way but I'm not suggesting that because I don't really know.
