Is it possible that the Tigers will not win the divison

    or even worse that both the Twins and the ChiSox will pass them and they won't even make the playoffs.

    Unthinkable at the All-Star break, but thinkable in the Sept stretch!

    Oh for all the Astros fans if the Dodgers go 7-6 to finish the season we have to go 14-0 to make the playoffs!! :)

    Oh yeah and ultimately Sid was right about the Reds, wrong about the Astros but definitely right about the Reds. :)

    The Tigers have all but stopped hitting. While it doesn't directly coincide with the loss of Palanco it didn't help. Young arms, especially those in their first full big league season are finding it hard to go 162. Still more than anything else, it's the lack of hitting.
    If you look at the team batting averages since aug. 1 of the sox, twins and tigers, you'll see the problem. But like everything else in baseball, they could still turn it around.

    Tigers got to celebrate a "clinching" for the first time in 19 yrs. Nothing like a trip to KC to get the bats hot again.
