If Patterson can motivate the horny toads to whip up on Texas, I want him and his whole staff at Tennessee. He has been highly successful in 3 full quarters so far.

So much for Texas playing the Aggies in the Cotton bowl.
From what I saw... they don't want any part of my team.

Mack Brown may be available. The University of Texas is preparing his annual job review now...

Terrible performance by the longhorns. Not much to say. Crowd was only around 80k so fans clearly didn't buy tcu as a replacement for the aggies

I think it was a mistake for the Aggies and Horns to cancel the series.

If Fla and FSU can work it out why couldn't those two?

Maybe its time for Mac to consider retirement? Always best to go out on your own terms!

Mac wants to retire on his terms...
Whether or not the AD will allow that at this point remains to be seen.

    Dave,

    WE didn't cancel the series.
Our president and AD made it abundantly clear A&M wanted to continue, and the SEC office was ready to work the schedule around the game.
However... Deloss Dodds wanted to be petty (he's the one that stated that only a small sliver of east Texas was SEC country) and refused.
    It's ALL on them.
Probably for the best we don't play again... we'd hang a hundred on them this year...

I was busy all day yesterday and sick as a dog all night.

So, it looks like Texas had a bad night?

TCU blew the Lhorns off the ball on both sides of the line all day.
