Anyone who buys into the Barkley is out so ND has clear sailing crap knows nothing of the ND-USC rivalry..and make no mistake, this is the biggest rivalry game for both teams. This USC team without Barkley still has more NFL talent than a great many teams in the top 10.. It's no easy chore.
ND <t>If Barkley is out, it doesn't change ND's prep for this game. The backup won't do anything different than Barkley would, he just doesn't have the experience behind him to make it work as effectively. <br/> <br/> If ND doesn't win this game they don't deserve to be in the NC game, it's that simple. With the absolute 100% surety that they WILL be in the NC game with a win over usc, I can't imagine any other motivation more powerful. You just can't have more on the line. <br/> <br/> Golson will have to play well and if the defense does what they have been doing all year we should win. But.....it's college football. Who knows? As a Irish fan all I can do is hope the boys all play they're best.</t>
Lets move this chat to the offical ND / USC topic. It's unseemly to have this topic started by an non-ND fan! 8)
Playing SC without Barkley is like playing Baylor without RGIII. Piece of cake. Just ask Bill Snyder.
No such thing as an easy game with USC. At least not lately. I'd like to see the Irish put a half hundred on them. But I'll settle for one more point than the Men of Troy get. GO IRISH PJ in Jersey
Here it is http://twitpic.com/bewgvb I like the reflection of Jesus part. That should ward off the jinx.
Now I'm really concerned. It's a beautiful cover, but I'm sure Colin Klein thought the same of last week's cover. Gip, I hope you are correct about the reflection of TD Jesus.
