Little mishap today. I hit a huge item, appeared to be an electric motor the size of a automotive starter or a little larger. This happened at 70 mph on southbound I-35 just after passing 620.

It fell off the back of a flatbed truck. With a crowded interstate at about 11:00, I had nowhere to go. I was in the #1 lane and veered over into the left breakdown lane trying to avoid it but hit it with both right side wheels. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was up on two wheels after this thing hit the back wheel and tire. I have no idea how the rubber side stayed down and the shiny side stayed up.

I stuck the iPhone between the spokes of the rear wheel to take this picture. It split the tread of the tire and hit the inside of the wheel hard enough to make this hole in the wheel.

At that speed, your lucky to be alive. Do you know the identity of the truck owner? (lawyer asking.)

    Ouchie!
It's good that you were driving. Someone like me wouldn't have known what to do. I would have been Post Toasties along the fence...
