    I did not realize he was that old. Time moves too quickly. He was a colorful coach.

    Two major deaths within 24 hours... The sports community loses DKR and the rest of the country loses the future of America. RIP DKR, RIP USA.

    He introduced the wishbone to college football, I hear that the Longhorns will come out Sat and line up in the wishbone on the first play.

    You mean Emory Bellard introduced the wishbone...
    He created it while coaching in west Texas highschool ball, and then Royal hired him.
