Fumbles, kicking game, porous defense and senseless penalties. This is a team in total disarray.

I am seeing something in this game that is turning my outlook on the coaching staff.

    1) The three four defense hasn't worked all year but we have a defensive coordinator that insists upon this defense. Let him insist on it somewhere else!

    2) We are too predictable. We pas on 1st down. If it is incomplete we run on 2nd down for 2 or 3 yards. putting us behind the chains.

    3) We can't contain. The Jarrell Jr High team could run around end on us.

    4) The most pressure we have put on the QB this game came after he was 25 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. We cot one sack but the defender was way offsides.

It is time for the administration to start their search.

The 3-4 works if you have the DLs to make it happen.. I cannot believe recruiting DLs to UT is that tough.. then again, this falls back on the staff.

It's a good day when Tennessee wins and USC loses... Even if Tennessee didn't play well enough to win.

A lot of teams were looking past their opponents today, not just Tennessee. Take the win and enjoy the suffering in Los Angeles. USC lost all chances of going to the Rose Bowl or playing in the 12Pac CG. They also gave up 62 points (at home) which is the all-time record for most points allowed in the history of their school, which began playing football in 1888. They also had to watch cross-town rival UCLA tack 66 on Arizona and Notre Dame win with another comeback that someone will probably make a movie out of. Trojan fans are undergoing tortures of biblical proportions!

    ...........Feel better?

    Tom,

    Now that you have a Purdue guy coaching your basketball team, it is time for you to learn the Purdue Football mantra;

    "When does basketball start??"

Tom you might like this from CFN re: USC:

"The Trojans continue to be one of this season’s biggest disappointments, a poorly-coached squad that’s been unable to maximize the diverse talent on the roster."

Not at all. The way Vandy has been playing and how we have been making mistakes, Vol fans would consider a win against Vandy this year as a miracle. If you had said Kentucky...

I still like Dooley but that entire defensive staff should be whacked.

Funny, that was what Tennessee used to tease Kentucky about... Three games in and: Is it BB season yet?

Tennessee wastes 40 seconds at the end of the 1st half and 30 seconds with excellent field position at the end of regulation with two time outs. Missouri had just taken the momentum with a 70 yard scoring drive to tie the game with 50 seconds left. We come out and throw a screen pass to lose 2 yards and then sit on the ball not using to time outs to take the game to overtime.

Wasted opportunities. We could have possibly put this away in regulation but now we are going to the 3rd overtime. Lose this one and this clock management issue will add to the hot seat for Dooley.

Dooley is gone. His decisions today drove the spike deep.

I was watching the Gators and didn't get to the Tennessee game until the start of OT. That was certainly exciting and it seemed neither team could stop the other. But it was exciting offensively.

I imagine you are right this will be the end for Dooley. He seems like a decent guy but just hasn't been able to win the important games.

Dooley isn't winning ANY games in the SEC...

It may be past time for Vol fans to ask if the school couldn't do better...

We may lose to Kentucky next week. This is beyond embarrassing. Dooley has lost the team. Fake punt on your own 19 yard line down by 17... I don't understand.

We are paying the penalty for getting rid of Fulmer... 9 to 10 win seasons were not enough for Vol fans that are now having a hard time remembering a winning season.

You guys probably remember me saying that Fulmer had to end the off the field issues. He did so and I gave him three more years to fix the problems. He was out at the end of the year. Terry has made reference to the fact that it is hard for me to turn on a coach. It was that way with Majors, Fulmer, and now Dooley. This is the first time I have turned on a Tennessee coach before the administration has done so.

Dooley, take your Georgia a$$ back to daddy's house. Mommy still has your room just like you left it!
