Over on InsideTexas somebody started a topic on the OU/ND game and who are you going to root for...by a large margin the hate for ND is predominant over the hate for OU. The sense is that ND is given things they don't earn because we are media darlings, we don't play a real schedule because we don't belong to a conference, etc.

Watching the video of the 1957 win, I learned that it was the first time OU had been shut out in 124 consecutive games. That's an amazing streak considering it was the era of 9-game seasons.
Great win by the Irish, 12 point underdogs...OU fans saying we are over rated, haven't played anybody. Irish grind them in to the turf. Best of all was the Sour Puss loser look on Big Game Bob's face!! OU Sucks!
What a great game by Golson. He was in control the whole time. All around effort by the O, D, and special teams.
Terry, <t>I bet that guy wishes he'd never written that!<br/> <br/> Was this a signature win!!!!! Yes!</t>
Amazing job by Kelly this year. I mean has brought Golson along, ran the ball and played tough defense and to boot has mixed in some Tommy Rees moments!
You can email this guy from ESPN and ask him if the Irish should still NOT renew it's NBC contract in 2015. But if you sent him a one line email that said GO IRISH! I think he would know why you emailed him. http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/8264769/notre-dame-irish-relegated-insignificance
No turnovers. That's relevant. One penalty. That's relevant. Tonight's crowd 86,031, an OK stadium record. That's relevant. 8)
