Its been a while since I've seen that program fall this low. The days of swagger and dominance are sadly over for cane fans around the world. Mabye they can CAN Coker and save some recruits...
Quite frankly I am completely shocked that Louisville beat Miami, according to what I've read so far Louisville started the game without it's best TB in Michael Bush and finished the game without it's #1 QB in Brian Brohm. Yet Miami couldn't take advantage. Miami offense is truly pathetic.
Apparently, Miami still has the lack of class to stop on the opposing teams logo before the game. Unfortunately, it was their asses that were stomped in the game.
Here's the funny thing, is that everybody was saying the great defenses at Miami and FSU were what made the FSU/Miami game such an offensive wasteland. It turns out that those defenses aren't all that great and their offenses just really stink. It boggles my mind that top offensive talent continues to beat a path to FSU I can't remember when they did anything with all the talent they have.
Terry, it was the announcers of the game between Miami and FSU that tried to make the case that their defenses were so good is why they couldn't score. I never bought that and didn't think either team was that good. And they aren't.
Seems to me the media continually tries to make fans think they are watching something wonderful, when they have a couple of teams not performing well? I guess it is the nature of the beast and selling time on TV. Don
I love it! Before the game, the entire Miami team gathers at midfield and stomps on the Louisville logo, causing a near brawl and really p*ssing off the Louisville coach. The camera showed him screaming at the Miami players. Then Louisville takes Miami behind the woodshed. Beautiful. I was one who questioned if Miami and FSU were as bad as they looked in their game against each other. They are.
I have to admit that offensively both FSU and Miami look to be as bad collectively as I can remember. They still have some talent at many positions so it obviously is not well coached at present.
FSU had already fallen. Was anyone honestly surprised that they fell to Clemson?? If their was any Big 3 team that was going to lose to a team of Troy's caliber, we all know it would be FSU. Miami was still borderline, but yesterdays game just dropped them to rock-bottom. Everyone knew they werent the Miami team of old, but i don't think anyone knew how far they had fallen. What an embarrasment to their so-called great tradition and swagger. They stomped on the Lousville logo, and then later... they were the ones getting stomped on  . They just dont have the players anymore that can back up their trash-talking. Their quarterback said it best in an article i read....."They can't win games because of what school their from or what tradition they have...its all fake hype." Wasn't someone arguing that Wright would start at UF. Is that even debatable?!?!?! It feels great to be the #1 team in Florida right now.
