The announcers are saying dislocated ankle. Looked like a Tib Fib fracture to me!

Thanks Tom, yeah it looked like his leg was not in the proper direction, major squirm time watching it. I appreciated Coach Golden hugging his neck for 5-10 minutes while the responders worked on it. I know it was more to hide the player from seeing what was happening but I have never seen a coach on his knees holding his player the entire time...Hope he recovers fast.

We were on the way to 19-0 when the play happened and now we are losing 22-19, it seemed to disrupt the young Miami players concentration...

It would disrupt my concentration that's for sure...

Great come back for the Canes. After GT Scored 30+ unanswered, I thought it was over.

Whew, a 42-36 barn burner of a game. If we can play every game like we played the 1st & 4th quarters we could be something. It was fun to watch...

The freshman receiver dislocated his ankle but there were no fractures..

Glad to hear that for the kid. However, especially with ankles, that could take longer to heal than a Tib Fib fracture.

Great win for you guys. After your game with KSU I was thinking you guys might not be good this year...but that was a pretty good Ga.Tech team you beat.

See Ya, Oct 6 in ChiTown! :)

I agree Corey, I'm not sure if Miami fans really understand the caliber of coach he is and what he can do if given the time. Where Miami goes with Golden depends on how far the guillotine falls once the NCAA hands out its punishment later this season. If he stays the duration and takes advantage of the local talent we will eventually compete with the big boys again. It sure has not hurt his recruiting up to this point..

    Ralph,

All I know is I'd be a lot more confident if this was a Randy Shannon coached team... I like Golden a lot. For the good of the game and your program, I hope you keep him.

I have to be honest, this is probably the most fun I have had watching the Canes in ten years. We are prone to distractions and not playing in every quarter but they are young, reminiscent of our 1998 team. But this young team has heart, talent and stamina and could be very good one day....

    ND

<t>Don't expect the Irish to have that many turnovers or give up that many yards on D. NCS had a terrible defense.</t>

Tim, I don't expect the Irish to resemble NC State in any shape or form. I have watched every ND game this season and pretty much dread next weeks game. Your team has talent, depth and experience and if the schedule allows could be the answer to the SEC outside of Oregon.

It looks like we may make it exciting for a couple quarters but key injuries, youth and ND having a bye week favor the Irish this year...Don't forget this is pretty much a home game for you guys...
