I've been to 5 on this list......and I have no disagreements with those who were put on the list. How many have you been to? http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/gallery/Best-College-Football-Stadium#tab=photo-title=You+have+to+get+there+...&photo=30086981
Somebody publishes that list every year. It hardly ever changes, Boise State is new to the list, no doubt more a reflection of their record than the awesomeness of the stadium.
I've been to 5 Ohio State USC A&M Texas Notre Dame I've also been to the old Orange Bowl when I was a kid and saw Syracuse play Miami.
Trying to figure out what 8 stadiums Scott has been to... A&M Texas OU Neb Notre Dame Clemson What are the other 2 Scott?
My five: BHG- Swamp Doak Campbell Notre Dame Michigan Columbus Plus games at the Carrier Dome, Wildcat Stadium Ky., Georgia Dome, Birmingham Legion Field and Nashville, Raymond James, Alltell in Jax......none of which I would put on the list.
4 Stu? Michigan Ohio State Texas Notre Dame Didn't you get to Wisconsin when you were in the band at Purdue?
These lists caused me to reflect on how many stadiums I've been in over the years. Not all are on the Fox Sports list. ND MI USC MSU Northwestern Illinois IU Purdue Cotton Bowl Toledo Soldier Field (for ND games) At least, that's all I can remember.
I have been to 7 on this list: Texas Alabama but back in the late 70's Georgia but back in the late 70's LSU Florida but back in the late 70's Boise State and I have been to Tennessee a few times...
Mines a hodge podge over the years. (1) Nebraska (2) Rose Bowl (3) San Diego St. (The Murph/Qualcomm/Pacific Life/etc.) (4) Mizzou (Faurot Field) (5) ECU Pirates (6) NCSU Wolfpack
ND Mich OSU USC Rose Bowl MSU Michie (Army) Ill. Northwestern So. Car. Ariz. St. Stanford (old stadium) Cotton Bowl Orange Bowl Saw ND games at Cleveland Municiple Stadium and The Meadowlands Nebraska Autzen Reser
Watched the North Texas game there on 21-October-2000 Taught a two week class at Micron, Boise which gave me a weekend with nothing better to do on Tennessee Bama week. While the Tennessee vs Alabama game was being played, I was sitting in the Broncos' stadium watching Boise State vs North Texas. I left early in the 4th quarter when I was assured that North Texas wouldn't make a come back. The score was something like 60 - 0. Cindy was using the Nextel Walkie Talkie feature to give me Tennessee Bama updates. Tennessee won 20-10
Yeah, mid and late '80's....Camp LeJeune, NC.....couple hours away from both stadiums.....Saw ECU play the Crimicanes, and NCSU played UNC.
You missed a decent Tenn team take on Bama in a close game......to watch N Tex St vs. Boise instead? DUDE! WTF were you thinking????
See the Boise State game with newly made friends at Micron and watch the Bama game on tape the next weekend. Back then, not all games were broadcast nationally. I was not going to get the Tennessee vs Bama game there. Some Pac10 game was on if memory serves.
