    I agree George, 87 mph isn't fast at all for a right hander.

    87mph..not fast?

    I went to a batting cage with my nephew when he was in Little League and figured I'd take some swings at the 40mph setting...never saw the ball! :)

    In the Atlantic League, 87 mph likely is to batters the the equivalent of 93-95 in MLB. Add to that the aura of of looking out and seeing RC on the mound. I'm guessing it will be an impressive outing.[/quote]

    Well if you remember his last season with the Astro's he didn't join the team till after the All-Star break and went down to the Corpus Christi Hooks to get ready. But in that case he'd been working out on his own to stay in shape in anticipation of comming back for the 2nd half of the season.

    I doubt if he's been working out now like he did back then, and I can't imagine he's still got the stuff to fool even lower minors batters.
