    Risky for all sound reasons......

It will be interesting as hell to see how that pans out in Denver.

The point made here is that Elway is taking a helluva chance with his own rep with this move to get Manning because of those risk factors cited.

It will be interesting to see if his gamble pays off or if it backfires..

If it doesn't work out for any reason...any reason including injury.....Elway will feel some serious heat.

I enjoy FF and actually won my league three times over a span of 10 years playing and no way would I take the chance that Elway did by making Manning a top draft pick in a fantasy draft with those risk factors in Denver.

I agree that Manning is far superior to Tebow but I think he is taking a horrible risk playing football at this point.

No question he at least was superior to Tebow......in passing skills anyway. Heart? Determination? Manning has plenty of it still.....but I haven't seen anyone outdo Tebow in that department.

You can't discount Tebow's running skills either but somehow many people do.

Overall Manning was the consummate NFL Qb.

The question is.....can he still do it and can he do it with the surrounding players in Denver? No excuses for not having the players to at least do what Tebow was able to do in Denver....no excuses.

And physically I don't think he is Brett Favre so we'll see.

Have Peyton send a picture of himself to that female reporter, and we'll let her decide.

Well statistically no one was. However Manning is the only NFL QB besides Favre to start over 200 straight games at QB so I guess he's as close as they come to Favre.

I know Favre took a physical beating a couple of years ago when he had his last great moments going to the NFC Final with the Vikings at age 39/40.

He was able to take the pounding and still lead the Vikes to a great season.

I fully anticipate Manning to get a similar pounding this year because I watched every Denver game under Tebow last year and that line is porous......and will be especially so when the threat of a running Qb is eliminated.

Same here George. He's got more money that he can spend in a lifetime, I hope for his sake nothing happens to screw up the rest of his life.

And for the record Peyton has always been one of my favorites and I seriously do not want to see him hurt.
