    I know y'all won't miss my wisdom but leaving Friday for a two week cruise. Western Europe. I'm definitely internet addicted but the rates are pretty steep pm the ship. So probably will be a stranger for a couple weeks. Might check in with my Nexus 7 tablet if I can. We are celebrating our 40th anniversary. Probably will get divorced after spending 16 days together. Lol.

    Stu, what parts of Europe are you visiting?

    You are raising the bar on your B10 brudders. Had our 20th in late June and celebrated with dinner at a French restaurant. I guess I better start saving up in case we can make it to 40.

    Greece? Spain? Italy? Wherever you go... you'll have more money than they do.

    Have fun and congratz on #40!

    Fly to London and leave out of Southampton....stops at Gibraltar, Provence (Marseille), Florence/Pisa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Corsica, Seville/Cadiz, Lisbon, Vigo (Spain), and then will see Stonehenge on the way back to the ship.

    I'm in the "What the hell all do I take and how do I want to pack it" stage.

    40 years and still on probation!!

    Di, we're going on Royal Carribean. Have done several cruises with them but all were Carribean. We did an Alaska cruise on Celebrity once and it was very nice as well.

    Quick update. Having a blast. Took a couple days to adjust to the time change. Wont be here much because internet rates . Off the coast of Spain. Gibraltar tour tomorrow. Up $50 in blackjack but I'm sure that won't last. Enjoying a Cuban Cohiba on the balcony.

    If you go to the top of the rock at Gibralter don't give the ape with the white patch in his head a dime. He'll tell you he can get you a knock off Rolex but he just takes your money. :lol:

    Western Europe is melting down off the port bow...

    North Africa is exploding to starboard...

    As Dr. Stu slides by with a flick of his ashes;

    and a little umbrella in his martini...

    Naw...Knob Creek on the rocks and Gibb and tonics. Cruise is great. Last three days really tiring. 10 hour tours with lots of walking. Rest will be more relaxing. Rome was awesome. Weather has been beautiful. Having a great time. Up 300 in blackjack but I'm sure the tide will turn. Had a fair amount of wine for lunch in Florence before Pisa and I swear the tower looked straight.

    It's been a few years since I was in Rome. It must have been renovated. When I was there it was in ruins. Of course it was a lousy trip. We got to Venice and the streets were flooded.

    Lol, gip! I really did enjoy the ruins, though.

    Corsica and Cadiz were ok...did a tour of Lisbon today. Was beautiful. A city I would like to come back to.

    Trip winding down...been great so far.
