So I guess the people of Wisconsin see the benefit of controlling Public Unions and getting a balanced budget.

Of course Barry O tweeted his support of Barrett this morning...that was about as much help as he was in this campaign. And the DNC, hands off no money invested. Tell me again why this whole thing got started.

It was priceless to watch Lawrence O'Donnell tonight. :)

Voters in San Diego and San Jose also slashed retirement benefits for government workers yesterday. The word is getting out...

Al Sharpton: Republicans Cheated, Stole Wisconsin Election…

And if there’s one thing Sharpton knows, it’s cheating and stealing.

    Via Radio Equalizer:

Issuing a call to arms, an angry Reverend Al Sharpton today claimed Republicans utilized fraudulent tactics to win yesterday’s gubernatorial recall vote in Wisconsin.

Claiming the results “emboldened the right-wing”, the MSNBC host told radio listeners it was a mere trial run for widespread vote theft designed to steal November’s presidential election outright.

Comparing their loss to a boxing match, Sharpton told supporters they could either remain “groggy” after a hit on the head or “double-down and get ready to fight.”

Report: 38% of Union Voters Cast Their Ballots for Scott Walker

Jimmy Hoffa laughing so hard he cracked his cement.

(CNSNews.com) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker says “there’s no doubt” that union members were among those who voted to keep him in office in Tuesday’s recall election.

The network exit poll for the special election showed that Walker won the votes of 38 percent of voters who said they were a union member or lived in a household with a union member.

“I’m talking to workers here this morning, talked to a lot of manufacturers across the state over the last year and a half, but particularly the last months in this campaign, and I find that at plant after plant, there are construction workers and others in manufacturing who appreciate the fact that we turned our state around. And I think they wanted more of that in the future,” Walker told Fox & Friends Wednesday morning. “They wanted us to go forward.”

The exit poll showing that Walker got 38 percent of the vote from people living in union households was conducted by Edison Research for ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, CNN, Fox News and the Associated Press.

Walker said he’s heard voters complain for years that when politicians get into office, they’re not willing to take on the tough challenges.

“What we did was inherently about taking on those tough challenges — about taking on the things that not only made it difficult at the state level, but at the local level, to balance our budget; and in doing so, we thought more about that next generation. . . than just the next election. And I think voters rewarded us for that.

“They said loudly, not just in Wisconsin, but I think across the country, if you do the right thing, if you make the right choices, voters will stand with you.”

How Sharpton has avoided prison is one of life's great mysteries. MSNBC is a perfect home for him.... he can rant like that and appear as just one of the guys and not worry about offending anyone because no one watches.

Walker's win has already had an impact in other states. Here in Michigan our crybaby recall idiots have thrown in the towel.

Al Sharpton didn't pass the bar exam. In fact, I can't find any evidence that he ever graduated from anywhere; not even a high school. He attended schools in Brooklyn and he attended Brooklyn college. He became a "reverend" at the age of 10 and was confirmed as a minister at age 16...by the "Reverend" Jesse Jackson. He was once a tour manager for singer James Brown and he has had numerous run-ins with the law for his cocaine dealing going back more than 30 years...

Yeah I'd say there wasn't much sentiment for a recall in Mich if they were a 10K signatures and they had been shooting for 800K to 1.1million signatures.
