    This article first appeared in the Wall Street Journal. It describes how the South Bend businesses are ratcheting up their prices much higher than in the past on on football weekends. I find it interesting that it's news because the stadium capacity hasn't changed.

    An attorney friend of mine who is an ND grad has gone together with 5 classmates/friends to buy a house in South Bend. I'm sure this has been done by many over the years, but it's the first time I've known someone who has done it.

    Wow, $280,000 for a condo to attend football games!

    I sure couldn't afford that.
