If the kid actually does re-create any of his magic from last season with his new team this year the media chatter will be off the charts in the Big Apple....

And if he doesn't re-create his magic he will need psych therapy when he leaves here.....

    I think I detect a bromance, doc. 8)

Hey....if the kid had gone to ND and became the celebrity he is we would have pages and pages of posts here about him from all of you many Irish fans on this board. Sheeeet....you guys post 10 pages on the Irish spring game.....

Besides Emmitt and Spurrier he is probably the most talked about Gator athlete ever and if he continues to do well and improve the hype and coverage will be off the charts.....Tiger Woods status......Michael Jordan status ( in their heyday).

That's the PR....ticket selling potential that Elway gave up.

But maybe Elway is a genious on his way to being a Super Bowl winning GM....etc etc.

Tell you what......you know he is hoping big time for a Tebow failure to take the pressure off what happens in Denver.

    Pure bullcrap.

I'm a huge Tebow fan. Faced with the same decision Elway had to make, I wouldn't hesitate a second. It wasn't personal. It was a smart business decision. Thanks to Elway's trade, Tebow landed squarely on his feet in a much larger market that will afford him maximum positive exposure both on and off the field. Don't feel sorry for Tim Tebow.

I think the chances of Tebow being effective are diminished in any sort of a gimmick offense because I believe the element of surprise or guessing is not there as it is when he is under center all game.

If they get creative it could be effective but if they trot him in to run and run only for 2 yards on 3rd down the NFL defenses will eat that up.

I don't like the two QB thing obviously for Tebow's development.

Otherwise......I am not saying Elway meant for Tebow to fail but I am just conjecturing that if Denver struggles the last thing Elway wants to see is a daily dose of Tebow in the news doing great things for the Jets.

If Denver does well then what Tebow does is a non-factor for Elway.

On a side note Tebow and his mom were on GMA this morning.....
    It's only May

Potential on both ends of the spectrum Gipper.

No guarantees how either will turn out.

PM is in his late 30s coming off injury with a suspect OL.

Tebow is splitting time at Qb.

We'll see how it plays out.....

Darrel Revis of the Jets has already formed his opinion of Tebow:

"Cornerback Darrelle Revis sees something special in Tebow. “He’s a born leader, he really is,” Revis said Wednesday, via Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com. “Very few athletes have the gift he has. He tries to lead by example all the time. He tries to be positive, which is awesome, and that [has resulted in his success on the field. . . .

“Some people have it, some guys don’t. It’s the passion within, wanting to be a leader, wanting to win. You see it all the time, eating lunch, walking down the hallway. You see it.”
