    :) thanks Terry, I knew you were Ok but not sure how close they are to Dallas area wow some storm couldnt believe those trailers flying thru the air like that I will take my earthquakes anyday

    Diane, wouldn't expect you guys to know where we live but I do expect by blood relatives to know. Check out the topic on the sprts board about Scott. He lives in Dallas.

    Thanks for the concern. I am 8000 miles away in China. Cindy is about 1300 miles away in Las Vegas.

    One week in China down... one week to go.

    Then two weeks of Long Distance Learning classes tought from the comfort of my home office... Then off on a two week leisurely bike trip to Panama City Thunder Beach rally and a visit with Red Jacket Firearms on the way there... also a side trip to Vicksburg for a little casino action and maybe even a day trip to Daytona. I am so looking forward to that trip where I turn off work e-mail on my phone and somehow forget to take my work laptop with me. :wink:

    Thanks Sid. I just purchased one of the best video cameras for mounting on a motorcycle/car to capture as much as I can at Thunder Beach. The GoPro Hero HD is what the DriveSRT group used and I saw it again with one of the members of the Austin Corvette Club. I should get some pretty interesting shots.

    Guys, I have been telling Sid about this video camera I purchased. I just found it being used in a professional situation.

    There is not much to watch here on Chinese television. There is CNN, HBO, and Discovery Channel. I have watched evey movie and most of what is on Discovery. I found a show called "One Man Army". It is a competition between 4 people from differing backgrounds. After watching several different episodes, I noticed that the camera they are using to film the faces of the compeditors is the GoPro Hero HD.

    Leave for Xian airport in a little over 10 hours. Touch down in Austin just a few minutes before midnight Saturday night.

    I have a new boss. He has been telling my old boss for over a year that I need to be off the teaching schedule to concentrate on my primary duties. Now he has given me the thumbs up to work myself out of the rotation as soon as possible. My traveling days may be over by the end of July! 8) 8) 8)

    CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! :shock: I forgot that I saved the company a little over $800 by booking my return flight on Sunday rather than Saturday. I get to spend another lovely day in Xian. ARGH!!!! :roll:
