The entire Red Sox infield tripped walking into the clubhouse today. The four starters all pulled a groin (each his own, we think) and will be out at least 14 days.

In other news, Jacoby Ellsbury - Sox phenom minor league prospect - was set to be called up today, but he tripped getting into the car waiting to take him to Boston, hitting his head on the doorframe and causing a concussion.

Curt Schilling, wonderful man that he is, went to Mass General to comfort Ellsbury, and, upon exiting the hospital, was run over by a candy striper pushing a wheelchair. His surgically-repaired ankle was shredded by said wheelchair, and it appears his career is over.

Pitching coach Dave Wallace, back on duty for less than a month after complications from hip-replacement surgery, has already worn out his new hip due to excessive trips to the mound.

Any Sox injury news I've missed?
