I didn't see that coming. Also Greg Williams suspended indefinitely...wonder if he'll work again in the NFL.

Absolutely Sid..I imagine every team in the league is meeting and the owner/GM/HC are all agreeing no more bounties. Devestating for the Saints.

    Ya think???

    Sid,

Judging by your avatar, Indy fans and Vol fans now have two things in common: 1) The joy of watching Peyton compete for the team they love, and 2) The sorrow of having him no longer walking out onto your field.

At least we have him coming back to Tennessee on occasion to help with the development of our kids. I hope to have him return full time in the not to distant future.

    Tom,

I've never seen such an outpouring of affection and appreciation for one individual as I've seen everywhere here, from the media to the owner of the team. If the Colts had won one or two more games last season (I don't know how they would have felt about taking RG III 2nd in the draft), this never would have happened. Because we have the 1st pick, and because the presumed first pick possibly could be the best QB to come along since Peyton, the owner had to make an extremely difficult business decision. All parties handled the parting with the utmost class. I don't know where Peyton will rank in the list of all-time great NFL QBs, but I can't imagine any of the great ones being more loved by his fans and respected by all NFL fans than Peyton Manning.

    re: Manning
Peyton Manning was the greatest pro QB that I ever saw.

    re: Sean Payton/Greg Williams
Good riddance. Is it a war or a game? If it was a war, most of those guys wouldn't be there. They're not warriors. They're ballplayers in a game that simulates war...
