He made some good hires in Harbaugh and Kyle Whittingham and Dusty May. But some other things like the guy who he hired to replace Harbaugh along with the issues with spying on opponents.

Interesting. The silk stocking law firm paid 11M for their investigation will present their findings to the Board of Regents on Friday orally. That’s right—no written report. I assume that is being done in closed session with the findings being issued orally to prevent the snooping media from issuing a FOIA request for the report. John Gotti conducted his business dealings in a more transparent manner.

IU continues it's meteoric rise in the college football world.

Indiana coach Curt Cignetti secured the highest-rated commit in program history Friday with a pledge from five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales, No. 18 in the SC Next 300.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound recruit from Indianapolis is ESPN's No. 4 wide receiver prospect in the 2027 cycle. He announced his commitment to the defending national champion Hoosiers over Texas, Alabama, Ohio State and LSU on Friday afternoon during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show." Per ESPN, Texas emerged as the most serious challenger to Indiana in the final weeks of Sales' recruitment.

Same high school as Omar Cooper. His track accomplishments are impressive. I looked them up:
He specializes in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 4x100-meter relay, long jump, and high jump. His PR for the 100 meter dash is 10.81 and for 200 meters is 21.09.

Mark Cuban says, "no problem Curt, I gotcha" With Cignetti's success, I don't see IU having a problem building the roster Cignetti wants tho I don't see them spending blindly without discipline either as some seem wont to do

They should have no problem filling the opening.

Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel is stepping down at the end of the calendar year, the school announced. A former defensive tackle for the Wolverines under Bo Schembechler, he’s been Michigan’s athletic director since 2016.

Michigan is set to release details of the Jenner & Block investigation into the Sherrone Moore situation and the athletic department, the school said in a release. A full search for the school’s next athletic director will be conducted.

I wonder if Bobda intends to apply for the opening. I'm sure he'd provide wise counsel and strong leadership.

Sid, It will take a far smarter and much more younger & energetic man than me to muck out the Augean Stables in Ann Arbor.
