It's going to be tough as we're in several battles for top players where the decision seems to be coming down to who can pay the most.

My daughter Molly and my Grandaughter Erin are going to that game. Erin had an autotransplant done at the Medical Facility at UW. They lived in a family stay house there and are planning on visiting them during the trip.

So did his Younger brother Andre Jones who is a DB in the 2028 class. I guess we'll be seeing a lot fo Julius Jones at future ND games!

2027 Georgia defensive tackle Segun Alexander committed to Notre Dame on Tuesday following his official visit to South Bend this past weekend.

This is looking like it might be a pretty good class

I hated his announcement. I guess he thought it was cool but IMHO it wasn't. But that said he's apparently immensely talented, hopefully he matures.

Well our QB for 2028 who just commited last week has already decommitted. Apparently it was a case of the family/parents wanted him at ND and he gave in but then just didn't want to go to ND, he wants to go to OU

There is another kid, Parks, who ND is battling a similar situation. He's down to Oregon and ND. His family loves ND and it's close to home (Illinois). But kid apparently wants to go out West to Eugene. So who knows.

Freeman has been dogged by opinions that he's a short timer at ND and will be in the NFL in a few years. He clarified on a podcast.

Freeman once again addressed his initial interest in the NFL during a recent conversation with former Ohio State teammate and Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward during Wednesday’s episode of the 15-year NFL veteran’s Not Just Football podcast.

“I listened (to NFL), I was intrigued (by) what the opportunity would be like in the NFL, and ultimately I declined to interview anywhere because … I needed to hear those things and talk to those teams to know I’m right where I’m supposed to be. And that’s the reality of it,” Freeman told Heyward. “Like, I wanted to talk to a couple of (NFL) teams just to say, ‘Ok, what are you looking for? What do you think is successful in the NFL?’ and again, it gave me an opportunity to sit down with my wife and think and pray and talk about it and say, ‘We’re right where we need to be.’

I’m as happy and really fulfilled in the position that I hold,” Freeman concluded. “And, as I think about my future, the only way I think about is I want to retire one day from (Notre Dame). … But this is such a special place, I plan on being here a long time.”

It would appear to me that Coach Freeman is being very open and wise in his opinions as his continued interest in the NFL as a possible dream. I think that is very wise on his part and and still honor his commitements to the Irish.
