I'm guessing he's on pain meds and took too many.

Hopefully that’s it, but from the sounds of it, he is very lucky that no one was hurt….badly.

Tell ya what. Im a huge Gary Woodland fan now. I liked the guy before, but just saw the interview he did Mar 8th.

I saw that interview and, for me at least, it was a tough one to watch. He's really been through a lot and like you I'm glad for him to get the win in Houston.

So it's on to San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open, it's played on a course I've played several times. I hate that course! :D I played better at Sawgrass, Pinehurst #2, and Harbor Town than that monster.

I played it once the week after the Texas Open so it was still set up like a Pro Tournament. I can remember hitting a ball into the rough and seeing exactly where it went in and watched all the way, then never could find it in the freakin' 4 inch rough. Also this time of the year the Hill Country is just waking up for summer and the starter reminded us that there are a lot of snakes that are waking up and laying around. So step carefully in the rough boys. Yeah that made it even more fun.

Don't even get me started on firm, fast, turtle backed greens with a lot of bunkers around them.

Best way to avoid the snakes is to not hit it ther TOK! Don't see many snakes on the short, pretty stuff in the middle of the fairway. ;) Not that I would know anything about that, but a friend of mine whom I trust told me one time.....

Good start at Augusta. Beautiful weather and a lot of great Masters golf. Rory and Sam Burns are leading at -5.

Penge hit it pin high left with a pitching wedge.

Rory 6 clear of the field with the biggest 2nd round lead in history without his Driver. If he keeps the short game and decides he should hit a few fairways he could light the place up and end things early

Rory still pretty wild off the tee and he's playing defense I guess, or maybe the golf equivalent of prevent defense. But it's allowed some guys who are tearing up the course like Cam Young who has closed the gap to 2 shots and is at -10 right now to Rory's -12. Li and Lowery (with a hole in one) are 3 back at -9.

So it's not looking like a run away as it did last night.

Scottie has the low round today and sit's at -7. But he's going to have have that and more tomorrow if he is to win, but he's got a good shot at another top 10

Rory is one of few in the top 20 to be over par today. Everyone else is going low

This has gone from a coronation to a dogfight. Two hours ago they were throwing it in from all over. Now they're dunkin their doughnuts.
