Badgers are a high volume 3 pt shooting team. Made 45% of their 3’s today. That was the story of this game.
I don't know where the Aggies will end up, but considering the ENTIRE roster is new for this season it's hard to imagine better start than 13-3 and 3-0 in conference. Have any of you seen our Spaniard Ruben Dominguez shoot? He's hit 53 of 112 from behind the arc this season! (47.3%) Unreal.
Not sure I would have advised Vic to go public with his unhappiness with the SEC schedule for Texas women's basketball. It's a tough one for sure, but it is what is is and no amount of whining about it will change things. Vic Schaefer is not a fan of Texas' SEC schedule and the Longhorns coach made that abundantly clear after LSU handed his team their first loss of the season on Sunday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. "They obviously have a vendetta against Texas because not only have we started in the league, and I get to play South Carolina twice last year, this year, I get LSU twice," Schaefer said."I have to play South Carolina on the road this year, as well as LSU. I get them back-to-back in the same week. Now, make that make sense. Texas coach says SEC has ‘vendetta’ against Longhorns after LSU loss
Yeah, why would the SEC pick on them anyway? There are currently 8 SEC teams ranked in the top 25. I think pretty much everyone is in the same boat at some point in the season.
Well the Aggies took the Vols to 2 OT's in Knoxville, but ran out of gas at the end. This Bucky guy may actually know what he's doing. I may have to pay attention a little bit.
I would think it’s ok if it’s for students not affiliated with the basketball program. I’m partial toward Chris Holtmann because of his success with Butler. I’m guessing he cleared it with the right people. Hope I’m not wrong.
Like Longhorns women's coach, Mick Cronin isn't too happy with his leagues scheduling. LOS ANGELES -- UCLA upset No. 4 Purdue 69-67 on Tuesday night, but the victory seemed to do little to ease Bruins coach Mick Cronin's wrath over the Big Ten's scheduling. Five of UCLA's first seven league games were on the road. The Bruins came into the Purdue game on two days' rest after playing at Ohio State, while the Boilermakers had been in Los Angeles since last week, having played at USC on Saturday. "I want to thank the Big Ten for giving us five of our first seven on the road, bringing Purdue here on Thursday night when we don't get back in L.A. until Saturday night and giving us the team picked to win the league on two days' rest after five of our first seven on the road," Cronin said in his postgame news conference. "Really, I want to thank the Big Ten for that." He later added: "I don't think they care about basketball. Truly. That's just my opinion."
This is getting ridiculous. Former Alabama standout Charles Bediako, who entered the 2023 NBA draft and played in the G League this season, has sued the NCAA to gain immediate reinstatement to join the Crimson Tide for the rest of the 2025-26 season, after the school's appeal for his eligibility was denied.
Unfortunately, I don't think the NCAA has won a court case in the last 10 years. Hell, college players are really pros anyway. While I don't like this, Bediako will probably get a raise by returning to college.
I don’t remember him either. Apparently, he was only with Alabama for his freshman year and then went to the basketball minor leagues. I don’t like the idea of pros being able to return to college sports
