The game between Indiana and Miami was much closer than I anticipated, turned out to be a pretty good game and well played except for the blocked punt and subsequent score by the Hoosiers. Another college football season has been completed.

I'm glad some schools are starting to stand up to these kids. Duke has filed a lawsuit against Blue Devils quarterback Darian Mensah, arguing Mensah broke his contract by trying to enter the transfer portal and that he must stay with the Blue Devils to finish the arbitration process. The suit, filed in Durham Superior Court, comes a few days after Mensah announced his intention to enter the transfer portal hours ahead of the NCAA's Jan. 16 transfer portal entry deadline. In a 44-page document filed Tuesday morning, Duke argues that Mensah should not be allowed to enter the portal so the two sides can enter and engage in arbitration the two sides agreed within the terms of the deal to settle disputes. Duke sues star QB Darian Mensah in wake of last-minute transfer portal entry request
