Missouri up on the Irish in the 1st half 40-33. Missouri has 2 players we have no answer for, a guy named Mitchell who finishes around the rim very well and a guy named Crews who is deadly from 3 point land.

Awesome 2nd half by the Irish to bear Missouri 76=71. Soph Cole Certa made some huge 3 pointers. Burton and Haralson had good games, Haralson fouled out though. Our portal center Towt has so far really worked out as a rebounder. Missouri is unraked but they were undefeated coming into the game.

Definitely our best win of the season, unlike Ohio State we finally found a way to finish.

I like this guy. He lost to us but he's supporting Coach Shrews and the program:

Notre Dame is the only Power Four team to sign its entire 2026 recruiting class without having a player decommit on or before National Signing Day.
PFSN Deputy Editor Oli Hodgkinson says that's a testament to the power of Marcus Freeman, a head coach who has made the Fighting Irish an easy brand to root for and ultimately, to want to play for.
Freeman has been a hot topic of conversation throughout the 2025-2026 hiring and firing cycle, but has remained steadfast in his commitment to Notre Dame, and the results are showing in this outstanding 2026 recruiting class.
The Irish landed four of the top 50 players in the country, three five-star prospects, and, unsurprisingly, given the program's heritage at the position, the number one tight end in the country.

Terry, this gives me a feeling like I haven’t had since the Lou Holtz days. Great class.

Irish women go down to Ole Miss in Oxford. The Rebs just had too much size inside for this team. They dominated the boards and just beat us to everything. Ole Miss didn't shoot free throws very well but they got the rebounds several times on their misses and scored anyway.

This type of team is going to be a problem all year for the Irish as we don't have post who can dominate down low. Cowles, a Wake Forrest transfer,, has some bulk but Sanchez the other post is rail thin. The other thing is that other than Hannah we don't have a 2nd or 3rd player who is a reliable scorer like we've had in most years.

This team is gong to lose 8-10 games IMHO>

Hey Don how did the Buckeyes let Cotie McMahon get away? She's a hell of a player for Ole Miss, we couldn't stop her last night.

I really do not know what transpired, but she wanted out and transferred. She was a real force in the paint!

Awesome win for the Irish in Ft Worth tonight. 87-85. Had to go to OT.

Cole Certa was on fire from 3pt land

Unfortunately we lost Marcus Burton 10 minutes into the game to what looks like a ankle or lower leg injury. I fear he's going to be out for an extended period.

Happy for the win but at a high cost re: Burton’s injury.

Notre Dame Hockey which for awhile was pretty good under Jackson, has fallen into disarray. We are 0-7 in the Big 10 and 4-10-1 overall. Not sure what is going on, is it coaching or is it just lack of effort in recruiting or is it NIL. Anyway it's in terrible shape. We have a nice arena though!!

Irish women go to Tallahassee for the opening of their ACC slate vs FSU. Not sure how good FSU is or anything, but we need a bounce back after that loss to Ole Miss.

The men who had a great week beating Missouri and TCU, have 3 tomato cans lined up in Idaho, Evansville and Purdue-Ft Wayne leading up to the Christmas break and then open with Stanford and CAL in a West Coast road trip over New Years.

    No word on Markus Burton

I can’t figure this out now. Are we in or out?

Hard to believe a Alabama team that’s was thrashed like that will still be in top 10
    The top 10.

The ABC/ESPN coverage is a real problem. Only Urban Meyer on Fox is as trashy as the entertainment sports network. I don't say that as an Irish homer. This is now consecutive years they've embarrassed themselves in hyping their own interests.

For example, I've got ESPN 2 on behind me while I'm eating breakfast. Some "expert" claimed that Miami blew out and "beat the heck" out of ND in week one....

That's just not true. That's not opinion. That's a straight up lie.
