His buyout requires him to seek a new job. A poster on Mgoblog thought East Carolina a great fit.

Who knows? They certainly seem to be for real...but it's going to come out on the field and not in "mine is bigger than yours" statistics. I've got one, btw...Indiana has given up 10.875 points per game...that seems darn good. Ohio State has given up 5.85 points per game.

It will, barring some crazy Nov happening IU and OSU will settle it on the field in the Big 10 Championship game. Maybe even twice, another meeting in the CFP

We are likely gonna get to see that one settled on the field soon. My observation fwiw has been for the last 2 years now that IU has been the best coached team in the country. Last year could have been a potential fluke, this year can leave no question at least in my mind. What I don't know is if they have the depth of talent that it requires to make a deep run. They have some outstanding talent to be certain, I don't know if they have 50 of 'em and it's a long, long season. System-wise I know that they have a few things that they do very, very well. I'm uncertain if they can do everything very, very well cause somebody at sometime is gonna take away their favorites and I know one DC that is very, very good at those kinds of things. All that said, We've got a couple big ones coming up before I start sweating that one.

I have to agree with BuckeyeT and Stu. A key injury along the way could alter the landscape as well!

Penn State, UCLA, Rutgers, Purdue and of course Michigan. Not seeing a tough game for the Buckeyes in that bunch except the mental part of the game facing Michigan and being one of the biggest rivalry games out there.

1 former and 1 present NFL head coach uses Kelly as an example of how not to treat subordinates.

That story was given a lot of play on NDNation after Kelly was hired, he was never embraced by a section of the fanbase from day 1. That was only worsened by his actions after the beatdown at the hands of Alabama in 2012.

Going to need Arch for Vanderbilt and the Johnny Manziel clone. :D

Texas quarterback Arch Manning left the Longhorns’ recent win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs after taking a hard hit in overtime that saw his head slam against the turf. On Saturday night, Inside Texas had the latest intel on Manning’s condition. On Monday, Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian provided an update on his starting quarterback.

“He did not (practice),” Sarkisian said Monday. “He’s in (concussion) protocol right now. We’ll have more information as the week goes.”

This coaching search should be interesting!

At a press conference related to SNAP benefits, Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry revealed a strong opinion about who should pick the next LSU football head coach.

“I can tell you right now, [LSU Athletic Director] Scott Woodward is not selecting the next coach,” Landry said. “Hell, I’ll let Donald Trump do it before I let him do it.”

When asked who would pick the coach if not Woodward, Landry said he didn’t know but proposed the Board of Supervisors might form a committee.

If Huey were alive, Kelly would either agree to a markedly reduced buyout or be buried in a swampy grave near Lafitte.
