I imagine the fans who left are heading to Kelly’s home to tar and feather him. Elko has really done a great job at A&M especially considering the shape it was in after Jimbo was fired.
Yesterday proved to be a great day for anyone who enjoys college football. Some great games and some upsets as well. Hopefully Arch Manning's injury is not serious. The Hoosiers are real and will be in the playoffs for sure. Can week nine be any better? Who is the most hated football coach in America right now? Stay tuned!
"Who is the most hated football coach in America right now?" The current, future and past FLA. Coaches since Meyer.
Saban was rally liked by Bama fans. In FL it's the home fans that hate the coach. I think Lane the Nomad has left "friends" in Tenn., SC and Ala.
Conversation with guys on the putting green today, especially one guy from Illinois, is that IU is better than the Buckeyes . They will get their chance in the Big 10 championship game. I will be shocked looking at their schedule if they don't finish the regular season undefeated. Aggies have a shot at undefeated., except they have to go to Austin to face the Longhorns. Ohio State has to prove they can handle the TUN.
As much as I'm an IU fan, I wouldn't say that. I'd welcome a game between them to determine which is the better team, but until proven otherwise, Ohio State is the top team in the B10.
Oh yeah we liked him but not many out side of Alabama like him. Now we really did not like Dennis Franchioni.
i Keep seeing that Sark is coveted by some NFL teams. I have no idea why, he's a good coach but he's had great talent and the results are pretty good but nothing that would make me, if I were an NFL GM, say we've got to get that guy. His agent even came out and said the rumours are all bunk, but that sometimes seems to me to be a ploy by the agent to get his client a bigger contract from Texas. I hope he stays and I hope they keep paying him whatever they are currently overpaying him.
Jimmy Johnson for sure made the move and was extremely successful. John Robinson had a lot of very good years for the Rams. But more failures. Bud Wilkinson John McKay Lou Holtz Nick Saban Bobby Petrino Urban Meyer Matt Rhule I'm sure there are others.
Harbaugh left Stanford and led SF to a conference championship. When he left Michigan, the Chargers were one of the worst teams in the NFL. He had them in the playoffs last year and will likely do so again this year. Pete Carroll left USC and won a SB with Seattle but is having an awful year at Las Vegas.
