IU laying 66 points on the Sycamores. Their transfer QB has gotten off to a great start, albeit against pretty weak competition in ODU and Kennesaw State. We'll find out pretty quickly when they face their 1st three Big 10 teams in Illinois, Iowa and Oregon how good they really are.

Agree 100%. I'm not a fan of Bielema but I have a bad feeling Illinois is gonna be a problem for alot of teams this year, mine included. Tough, physcial with a lot of returners from last year tells me road trip over their ain't gonna be a picnic. Trip out west to Seattle and Illinois in Cham/Urbana are big upcoming challenges for my boys . Illinois could be this years Indiana....very well could sneak into the playoffs and they'll get a lot of crap from the Lane Kiffins of the world but the Lane Kiffins of the world don't want to play em either

At the other end of the spectrum is UCLA who lost last night at the Rose Bowl to New Mexico 35-10. If they were a person, anxious members of the conference would be visiting their home for a wellness check after noting that their lawn had not been cut for 6 weeks and all the drapes were closed.

I've never understood why UCLA hasn't been a college powerhouse. They sit in the middle of a ton of talent, have a beautiful campus in a very tony area of L.A., great academics, bound to have a ton of rich alumni, great weather, hot/beautiful female students.

    Why.

The slide began after Terry Donahue and John Wooden in the men's major sports. Athletics is no longer prioritized as high by the administration and since 2002 the school has had (IMO) middling athletic directors in Dan Guerrero and Martin Jarmond.

The main UC campus at Berkeley has suffered the same fate.

It's early but Ga.Tech is playing very well and up 13-0 on Clemson.

Alabama looking like they will easily cover vs Wisconsin.

Nebraska abusing poor local school, Houston Christian University. I eat lunch in the shadow of their campus on Wed after golf. Hope the paycheck is worth it.

Clemson has found their footing and look like they will pull away with a solid win. They are up 14=13 and Tech's offense is being overwhelmed by the Clemson DL.

Simpson has another impressive game. Not much of a running game but passing game is clicking. Wisconsin is very banged up.

Ga.Tech not dead! Long drive and Haynes King scores to go back ahead 21-14 with a 2 point play that was a big time trick play. Philly Special.

Yeah 63 yds rushing is not a very alabama like offense. I stopped watching when it looked like the Tide were going to have their way and switched to Clemson/Ga.Tech which has been a very good game to watch.

I think with DeBoer, Alabama offense is going to look different. I’m not sure you can win in the SEC without a running game, especially without a dominating defense.

First time I've seen the fake injury penalty, a Clemson player was trying to get off the field and the ball had been spotted, so he went down. Clemson was penalized a time out for it, trainers came out hovered over the kid and he got up and walked off the field.

Walk off FG, no timeouts left, fire drill to get everybody on the field and it was the kids longest FG of his career. Wow what a game, what a finish.

Great win for GT. After their heartbreaking season ending loss to Georgia last year, you could tell that Key was building a nice team. Glad to see them get over the Clemson hurdle.

Re Wisconsin. They have a solid front 7 so not an easy team to run against. Simpson definitely carved up the Badgers secondary. I wonder if the deep pocket Wisky boosters are getting ready to pass around the hat to raise the 40M necessary to buy out Fickell as it seems very likely they will not be in a bowl game for 2 consecutive seasons with their brutal schedule.

What a start for Tom and Cindy's Vols, just marched right down the field for a TD. Did it fast.

Aguilar really looked like he must have been a a 5 star QB, not a 0 star who has bounced around and only can play this year because of Diego Pavia winning that lawsuit that said his Jr. College years don't count against him in terms of NCAA eligibility. I wonder if Nico is watching this game;)
