Most of the top guys have all or all but one of the Elite 8. There is quite a bit of variety in the picks from here on out...and that is where the points are. There are going to be some guys drop. Good luck everyone.
TT completely outhustling, outmuscling, outshooting Florida. Florida can't defend. If not for free throws, FL would be losing by more than 10 points at the 6:00 mark.
Big mental error by TT. 1 second before a sure 10 second violation on Florida, TT player fouls at 22:9. FL up 3 and at the FT line at 10:2.
What a finish by the Gators, 4 straight 3's and then hit all their FT's, Tech missed the FT's and coiuldn't make a 3. I might say Tech snatched defeat from the jaws of Victory, but really the Gators just made all the plays at the end. Saved my bracket!!
While there is still 9 minutes to go, Duke seems to be in control but as we saw in the Texas Tech/UF game that can change fast.
Against BYU, Alabama shot 49% from 3-pt land, 53% from the field and 86% from the free throw line. Against Duke, 25%, 35%, 79%. Duke's defense combined with just cold shooting was Alabama's demise. Good run for the Tide.
I'm reading that the entire IU roster that is eligible to return has entered the portal. That just isn't right.
That's correct, Terry. I've seen in local ports news that the new coach may have a few players from his West Virginia come to IU through the portal. His son is an established good player. As a fan, I'm optimistic he'll find a way to put together a competitive team. His record shows that he flat wins wherever he goes. The problem under Mike Woodson was that he recruited excellent players, but his teams were inconsistent and average and never lived up to their potential.
Purdue, whose 5 starters per Stu's earlier post were all home grown, has added a big man via the portal: https://www.indystar.com/story/spor...luff-south-dakota-state/82731645007/?tbref=hp
I watched the first half of the ladies tournament game last night between UCONN and Southern Cal. Too bad JUJU was out with injury. They were no match for UCONN in her absence.
