The OSU DBs have brought ND back into this game. 5 or 6 pass interference penalties?

Congrats to the Buckeyes, you guys have great talent and played a great game. We just had no answer for your offense. I was glad we fought back and made it competitive, it's not the same loss or the feeling as after the blowout by Alabama in 2012.

Great season for the Irish and while we lost, it doesn't diminish the season to me at least.

Seems like it has been a long season, but a happy ending for Buckeye fans. The Irish made it interesting in the second half and certainly had a great season as well.

Congratulations to the Ohio State Skyboxers on a decisive victory. I felt good about our presence in the game because it was obvious that we had earned it (vs. the 2012 NC game following Alabama's drubbing of ND which had many questioning our presence despite having been undefeated). Prior to the game it was my hope that, win or lose, we play competitively and with dignity. After being shell shocked by OSU's 31 straight points and dominance on both sides of the ball, we recovered and made a run. It wasn't enough to snatch victory from the jaws........, but it was enough to prove to me that - finally - we've returned to the mindset established by the prior great ND coaches of my lifetime, Parseghian, Devine, and Holtz. Marcus Freeman gets it. He's instilled a mentality that has lifted the program to a competitive level not seen in a long, long time. Plus, there is no shame at all losing to this year's version of Ohio State, which, following the loss to Michigan, became a behemoth in the CFP.

Hats off to the Irish. Lesser teams would have folded after going down big. I knew they would make a run and I was never comfortable until the big throw to JJ late. Marcus has built a great culture in South Bend, Im happy for him and you guys. He's a great coach and a great leader of young men. I think he's got things rolling there

    Congrats to the Bucks fans.
After last baseball season I can tell the Irish fans that being first loser sucks for a little bit, but then you remember how damn close you got, and it gets you pumped up for the run next season.
    :D

Started watching the game and thought they were pretty evenly matched. Then we lost our power and didn’t get to see the rest of the game.

But congratulations to both teams for getting there and to the Buckeyes for winning.

If I weren't a Detroit Lions fan, I might take that to heart. :(

I join Sid in congratulating our OSU Skyboxers. I was really impressed with the composure of Howard last night. Time and again he put daggers in the Irish with his arm and his feet. We had no answer for him.

Thanks Mike, a nice way to out for Howard, he did have a terrific night. I was impressed by that initial drive and score by Notre Dame. I think Freeman is going be a very good coach for the Irish.

Buckeyes beat 5 top 10 teams, I'd say that's a pretty strong case for being one of the best teams ever.
