Got an emailsaying that the playoff game is sold out. Cheapest resale on seat geek is $879. I say save your money and hope for the Sugar Bowl.
If we get to a game with Ga. we have a break that Beck is out. I wasn't that impressed with him that much. The replacement freshman had some great HS stats. Can he perform in the bright lights against a tough defense? Maybe we'll get to see.
woooo hoooo... Wifi 6E SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - If you’ve been to a Notre Dame football game in recent years you know cell phone service can be a little spotty. There are other factors, but it’s mainly due to too many people using their cell phones at once and the towers and wireless systems become overloaded. Notre Dame has made an investment that could improve that situation and people will find out during the upcoming playoff game against Indiana on Dec. 20. The university says Notre Dame Stadium will become the first outdoor college venue to implement Wi-Fi 6E standard power. Notre Dame says the overhauled system taps into a new part of the Wi-Fi highway and offers more bandwidth, providing faster speeds, stronger connections and less congestion. Will fans notice the difference? The new system will be working for the upcoming playoff game. Copyright 2024 WNDU. All rights reserved.
This is labeled "CFP Hype Video". It's 6:23 long and starts with the loss to NIU but picks up steam as it goes along. Worth watching if you have the time.
It's so you can completely ignore what's going on on the field and keep in touch with folks on social media.
Big game tonight for the Irish Women's basketball. another top 5 team is in town that would be UCONN. We are slight underdogs in this game, not surprising given we are down to 6 players and a 7th who was highly recruited, Emma Risch, who apparently due to her poor defense doesn't get off the bench very much. UCONN of course is as always loaded with talent, including Paige Bueckers who is the favorite to be National Player of the year and the #1 pick in the WNBA draft.
The Portal will be the death of college football unless they make some changes. Arch Manning to Ole Miss now. Crazy. This transferring every year for no reason at all except you’re just not happy for whatever reason is just crap.
A couple of websites I've never heard of are reporting it, click bait. Arch Manning Will Transfer To Ole Miss For The 2025 Season
Ladies took down #2 undefeated UCONN tonight, Hannah Hildalgo was spectacular tonight again. They played great defense and shot the 3 pointer very well. They have played 3 top 5 teams, USC, UCONN and Texas and are 3-0 against them
Interesting perspective on the portal albeit very limited. My grandson is a freshman in Butler Universty's D1 FCS football program, which just had a head coaching change (the former HC was chosen as the new head coach at Ball State). He told his mom, my daughter, that he may advance sooner than originally thought up the depth chart because of the number of guys hitting the portal, specfically at his position. Personally, I don't have negative thoughts about the portal (a go-with-the-flow posture), but if, in a weird way, it benefits my grandson, I'm all for it. One thing I know is certain, it won't "ruin the game". Maybe it will for some individually but not for the vast majority of fans.
No problem re: the disagreement. I actually strayed from the original intent of my post by expressing my opinion, so I had that coming. I know feelings are split on this board, and I understand the feelings of those on the other side.
It's going to be cold in ND Stadium next Friday. Not an advantage though since the opponent is also from the Midwest, IU.
