WHEW! Defense saved us on 4th & 1+. Turnover neutralized. We go on to score. 35-21.

Wow what a finish for the defense who had been abused by the USC QB, 2 pick 6's one for 99 yd and 1 for 100 yds.

    How sweet it is!!

Final Score 49-35 most points ever scored in the Rivalry.

Unfortunately the Irish women lost again today against Utah. I didn't see either game just read what people say but not a good weekend for the ladies in the Caymans

Big win by the Irish. Running attack was really good. Hope Love is OK. Irish pass defense looked the worst I've seen all season. SC QB is gaing to be a big pain next year. We're close to grabbing the 5 spot in the playoffs. Supposedly the easiest path to the finals of teams not getting a bye. Rest and heal Irish. Big games are ahead.

I agree, but 2 pick 6's at crucial times kind of softens the problem. I'm wondering how the SC we saw today ended up 6-6. We're not a great team, but we're very good, (I think) better than we looked today. IMO, SC's athletes at most positions, especially QB and WR, had something to do with that

It seems like in most years USC has better skill players than the Irish. Not every year of course..

I thought SC had really good receivers. They were tough in the jump ball situations and made some nice over the shoulder catches.

One thing we haven't mentioned is our kicking game. It could doom us in the playoffs.

Congratulations, Bobda. Tough weekend for me. I'm not in the fire Day crowd at all, but I think that he and Chip Kelly need to take a long look at their game plan and play calling for this game. But what do i know? Very little. Everybody's an expert when things go badly.

Nick was right in the middle of that melee. He was filming with his phone and got knocked down.

The good news for Day is that the Buckeyes are going to get another home game in the CFP and they can still win the Nat'l Championship.

Hard to imagine Day being fired though.

Irish pickup a 2026 CB today.

Less than a month ago, Chaston Smith‍ looked like a heavy lean to Clemson. The 2026 Tennessee cornerback said as much following a trip to see the Tigers.

But that was before Smith took a trip to see Notre Dame a week later. Coming out of his visit to South Bend, he said the Irish had opened his eyes.

    He wasn’t kidding.

On Sunday afternoon, the McCallie School star announced his commitment to the Irish over offers from schools like Clemson, Texas A&M, Indiana, Ole Miss and Louisville among many others.

“The opportunity that they’ve shown me after football, not just while I’m there,” Smith told ISD prior to his public announcement.

RE: usc. This game had me going back and forth the whole time. Every time I thought we had this in the bag usc found a way to claw back in......but the Irish found a way to win. I'll take it.
By the way guys, I kinda been out of it the last couple of weeks. Had Surgery on my cervical disc again and we moved!
