Wow what an ending to the Miami/Ga.Tech game. Canes get the ball back with 2 minutes and the Miracle Man Cam Ward in control. But instead he gets strip/sacked and Ga.Tech has the ball in the red zone. Then the Ga.Tech on 3rd and 8 did something really smart, the end around play looked like it was going to maybe score but the runner went down in bounds and Miami was out of TO's and they ran out the clock.

    Tech won 28-23

Buckeyes win over the spread 45-0 vs Purdue and move on to the Northwestern game in Chicago next Saturday.

One thing it does is assure that if it ends up Miami/SMU in the ACC Championship game the loser will have 2 losses and I'm not sure either gets in with 2 losses.

But there are a few more games to play before we get to that.

Bad news for Ole Miss. Jaxon Dart throws a pick on the first possession and UGA cashes in with a short scoring drive. But even worse Jaxon limped off the field and has gone to the locker room.

No Jaxon Dart, no problem. Backup marches Ole Miss down the field for the tieing score. 7-7

Really bad year for the Boilermakers, gave up a ton of points to everybody except Indiana State. Looking at their schedule I doubt if they win another game. 1-11 surely gets you on the hot seat.

Why do I think the Buckeyes could've lput up 60 on them easily.

Big surprise to me, Ole Miss up 16-7 at the half. Doesn't look like the same UGA team that showed up in Austin.

Ole Miss dominated them after Dart threw that pick on the 1st series. This was not the same UGA team that came to Austin. They never pressured Dart and Ole Miss got to Beck and sacked him. Ole Miss FG kicker is really good.

IU gets the win vs Michigan, looking at the stats it had to be defense dominated game. IU only had 246 yds of total offense and Michigan only 206 total yards.

This sets up the showdown in Columbus in 2 weeks, IU has the bye to prepare for the Buckeyes.

Milroe had a really good game, and our defense looked better. The offensive play calling was a good mix of RB runs, QB runs, and passing. Our penalty problem was back in the normal range. Overall, it was a good game. Now, if we can bring it every week.:)

I was thinking we'd lose , say 35-17. I don't bet much but put $10 on Boilers to cover the 37.5 point spread. If you saw the game you know that we gave the Buckeyes about 20 points in turnovers, missed field goals, and blocked punts. Maybe even 24 points if you count the dumb decision to go for it on 4th down near the end of the first half, giving OSU great field position to score a TD. Maybe it was the correct call...I dunno. 4th and long 3 from OSU 36 with 1:56 left. Sack puts OSU on the 41 with lots of time and timeouts. Maybe with a punt we'd have held them to a field goal or less.

We played terrible...just sayin' they really didn't take their foot off the gas much (that's ok) and we handed them a bunch of favors. 60 seems a little harsh. The game was bad enough.

Maybe so, I of course didn't see the game but the Boilermakers are really bad and I figured if the Buckeyes wanted to do it they could have hit 60, but I imagine that Day got a lot of backups some playing time and was more than happy with the win.
