November is always the month that counts in college football. No big week night games this week, it's all about Saturday.

    1. Oregon @ Michigan The Ducks have a Heisman candidate in Dillion Gabriel, the Wolverines have a walkon and a guy who can't pass. But they are always tough at the Big House, but not likely tough enough in this one.

    2. Georgia vs Florida What used to be called the Worlds largest outdoor cocktail party, won't be much of a party for the Gators. Who have improved a bit and have won 3 out of their last 4 only loss was the Vols in a very close game. But the Dawgs have been woken up and it will be a beat down.

    3. Penn State vs Ohio State I am still not a believer in the Nits and now they have a nicked up Drew Allar who Franklin says will be a game time decision. White Out for sure in Happy Valley. If the Buckeyes can figure out how to get their running game back online this should be a solid win for them, if not a nail biter. Nits do have a solid defense, so it could be a low scoring affair if the Buckeyes can't run the ball.

    4. Ohio State @ Penn State

    5. Miami vs Duke As long as Cam Ward is healthy and he should be, the Hurricanes will lay it on the Dookies.

    6. Texas - Bye

    7. Tenn vs Kentucky The Vols should handle the Wildcats with ease. But it could be a close game or a blowout. Depends on if the Vol offense comes to play, their defense certainly will.

    8. Notre Dame - Bye.

    9. BYU @ Utah The Cougars are the surprise team of the Big 12 and the Utes are as well in a different way. They are in free fall losing their last 4 games and firing their OCoord. They were top 10 and the pick to win the Big 12, now the roles are reversed. This is called the Holy War as both schools are basically Mormon.

    10. Texas A&M @ South Carolina The Aggies coming off their big home win over LSU have to decide who will start at QB, Elko was not forth coming, said it was an on going situation on what was best going forward. Hard to ignore what that kid Reed did, and he can always bring in Weigman if he stumbles out the gate on the road. The Gamecocks will not be a push over, they went to Alabama and almost beat them. They did beat OU last week. I think the Ag's are on a roll right now though.

    Other games.

Iowa State vs Texas Tech Hughe B12 game, the Red Raiders are a pretty solid team and Iowa State is still undefeated and heading towards the B12 Championship game. Should be a very good game.

Clemson vs Louisville The Tigers are on a roll since the opening loss to Georgia and on a course to the ACC Champ game, Louisville is well coached and talented. They won't be an easy out for Dabo. Like the Irish, Clemson pretty much has to run the table so this is another big game for them.

Indiana @ Michigan State The Hoosiers are the story of the year in the Big 10 and nationally. I don't know if they get their starting QB back, but the backup did a great job last weekend. Michigan State is rebuilding and have looked good at times. IU probably just a bit much for them this weekend.

Pittsburg @ SMU nobody really talking about these two teams, both of them are lead by young QB's who are having great seasons. Eli Holstein of Pitt is game time vs SMU and Keving Jennings of SMU is ready to go. Pitt is unbeaten and getting no respect from the AP voters, both are undefeated in the ACC so this is a big game in the ACC. Don't know what to expect. SMU plays in a smallish stadium so it won't be an intimidating atmosphere like playing at Clemson, Alabama, Tenn, Georgia, OHio State etc. Should be a very good game though.

Alabama and LSU both have bye's this weekend to heal and get ready for a must win game for both of them Nov 9th in Baton Rouge.

Terry, Penn State was hoping for a night game for the whiteout, but a noon start does not benefit them at all! (I hope);)

As long as weather is not a factor, I don’t care what the start time is.

Kind of odd that the Big 10 would put Wisconsin /Iowa in the prime time slot on NBC while the best game of the day is put at the early slot

Scheduling TV games has to be a nightmare for the teams, conferences, and TV providers as well.

Wondering if it has something to do with the providers; maybe Fox had "first pick"...and NBC had to go with Wiscy Iowa for their prime time slot.

Lane Kiffin not esp happy over the Rebels not getting a single home night game this year.

On Monday, Kiffin was asked whether or not playing at night as its advantages over playing in the day, and he was brutally honest with his thoughts, even taking a shot at the LSU Tigers in the process.

"I think that's proven over time in the NFL and college," Kiffin said. "Playing at night in electric atmospheres is a home field advantage, and it's tough as an opposing team."

"Who went at night? LSU gets to play at night again, I guess? Shocker. That's 2-for-2 for them."

No surprise Game Day will be in Happy Valley, as will Big Noon Kickoff. It's the game of the day.

I am not accepting the spread on this one. Penn State should be the favorite? Looks their QB will play!

Not very optimistic myself. Our OL looks like a hospital ward to the point our best OLineman is having to kick out to man the LT slot instead of his home at LG. Not ideal in any case but esp not good having to face an edge rusher like PSU's Abdul Carter. Could be a long day for the offense, I expect PSU's front to feast. Our defense is going to have to step up esp if their QB1 is healthy

That's the question isn't it, will Drew Allar be 100%? If he is then I think the Nits can hang with you guys. I don't believe that Neb game was any indication of anything other than they probably took the field thinking that they were in for an easy win. Nits do have a very good run defense so how good will Will Howard and your NFL receivers be on Saturday?

I'd gladly give them a healthy starting QB in exchange for a healthy starting LT. Our OL is gonna struggle in the run game and pass pro. Chip Kelly and Day are gonna have to earn all their $$$$ to cobble together an attack that can be at least somewhat effective. I expect alot of Q run and RPO's. First team to 20 may win this one.....hoping our D comes up big. They got some OL challenges too and we got a few kids that can get after the QB ourselves

BuckeyeT and Terry, I hope we can open with a good and quick start. We seem to be a bit too tentative for some reason. Home field advantage worries me, but not as much as an evening white outo_O
