Couldn't ask for a better start, long efficient drive to score first and then a turnover and a quick score.

    Irish up 14-0

Irish got another turnover but missed a FG and then Navy got a long drive capped by a 47 yd TD run by their QB. 14-7 Irish.

Kind of interesting watching this game in 4K, CBS hasn't shown a single advertisement. Just dead air and the stadium in the commercial spots. NBC and Fox don't do this.

If it could go wrong for Navy it has. KO goes off the Navy return guy out of bounds at the 4, the QB fumbles and the Irish defense recovers for a TD.

The Bad news...our kicker(s) are really bad, we missed the extra point. We really need Jeter back

    44-14

51-14 Irish. We did plenty to win on our own, but Navy just kept giving us the ball.

Riley Leonard had a good game, made some nice throws and some good runs.

But this game was all about the Navy turnovers.

I won't be surprised if both A&M and Indiana jump the Irish in spite of the big win over Navy. They had even bigger wins over a better opponent. It's going to be tough to make the CFP even going 11-1

There’s a lot of football left to play. The automatic bids may skew things, with a 10-2 conference winner may push out an 11-1 at large team.

I will give Navy credit, when they weren't giving the ball away, that offense looks very lethal. That QB is a magician and very fast. Throws a nice ball. I won't be surprised if they go to the AACC Championship game vs Army

Watched Riley/s post game remarks, It was interesting that he mentioned former ND QB's who he has talked to including Tommy Rees, Ian Book and Sam Hartman but also gave a nod to Tyler Buchner. He's an easy kid to like.

High expectations for the Irish women this season. They have a lot of talent, but women's college basketball has become very competitive and while we are a top 10 team we are still looking up at South Carolina and UConn as well as U$C and Texas.

But I expect a fun season.

CLEVELAND — On Monday, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced that Sonia Citron, Hannah Hidalgo and Olivia Miles were named to the Naismith Trophy Women’s Player of the Year Watch List. The 50-player watch list is filled with the nation’s top players, and just a handful of teams have three or more players on the list.

Irish men and women played exhibition games vs the equivalent of the Washington Generals. So no surprise that they won big and the men played everybody on the roster, the women were limited due to holding out Sonia Citron, Maddy Westbeld, Emma Risch, Kylie Watson all due to injuries.

Regular season starts next week, both play another tomato can to get things rolling.

I notice as of now the Itish don't travel to California for Thanksgiving weekend. We've been alternating between USC and Stabford for quite some time. Stanford had replaced Miami on the Thankgiving weekend game decades ago.

Are the Itish vs. Stabford listed in the picks contest?
