Basketball is coming soon. Irish men are picked 10th in the ACC preseason poll, and the ladies are picked 1st. Markus Burton is picked 1st team all ACC, while Hannah Hildalgo is picked as POY and All ACC, along with Sonia Citron and Olivia Miles. Irish women have a great non-conference schedule which includes fellow top 10 teams,, Texas, UCONN and USC.
There is some question as to whether or not GT QB Haynes King will be available. He hurt his throwing shoulder last week and couldn't finish the game. He has had a great season so far, and I am sure Scott remembers him and his potential from his days as the A&M QB.
Appears King will not be playing this one according to ESPN. However, before we get to happy about our chances now don’t forget we did lose to NIU so we can’t take any team for granted!
His backup is experienced so it's not like we'll face a true freshman or RS freshman who has thrown 12 passes in his career. Irish aren't good enough to take any team lightly. Need to show up and play like the whole season rides on this game.
