Little interesting tidbit....my Dad worked for Charlie at the Nicklaus Pharmacy on campus while he was going to school in the early 50's. Told stories about then young Jack being quite the handful

Have you guys ever been to Lake Geneva? It's on my list of summer golf destinations.

This one? Beautiful place....make sure you pay homage to the statue of Freddie Mercury in Montreux. Nice casino....must have rebuilt it, I heard it burned down.

Xanders birdie on 14 was wild, he was in no man's land in 2. Not much of a shot, hit in the bunker on the other side and then hit the pin on the sand shot but it didn't drop, but hung on the side of the hole and then dropped.

Aberg just holed out from the sand on 17 just like Xander did on 14. Hit the pin didn't go down but hung on the edge and then dropped.

Played in a little tournament up there a couple of times. Have you ever played in the northern part of the Lower Penninsular of Michigan? Really beautiful golf country with plenty of wonderful places to play.

No never have played there, but have certainly enjoyed going to Kohler (Wisc) and to New Hampshire in the summer to play some golf. Any suggestions on Michigan? The trip always has my 2 sisters so it has to be more than just golf.

Scottie finished it off yesterday with a great birdie on 18, and has a 3 shot lead. He missed some makeable putts that could have put him even further out front.

One of the things I like about watching this tourney is that Jack gets in the booth towards the end of the telecast and really is fun to listen to his comments.

My nephew (Matt) played in the LIV Pro-Am with Louis Oosthuizen, said it was a blast.

OK First off, the major airport up there is Traverse City which accommodates jet aircraft. First stop I'd recommend Arcadia Bluffs. It's across the Lake from Whistling Straights and is a very similar course. From there head back to Traverse City and play The Bear at the Travers City resort. Next it's up the coast to Bay Harbor. They have 27 holes and I'd recommend the Quarry and the Preserve 9s. From there I'd head north to Hidden River Golf and Casting Club and play their beautiful course. If time permits then head to Gaylord and play the Trent Jones course at Treetops. From there continue east To Atlanta Mi and play Elk ridge. Finally, last but not least is The Gails golf course in Oscoda on the Lake Huron side of the state. Every one of the courses I've mentioned (last time I played them) are beautiful and are championship layouts. And in the summer, the weather is usually mild during the day and cool in the evening.

Scottie showed he's human, made a mess of #9, carded a triple and his once 4 shot lead is gone. He and Hadwin are tired at - 8.

should be a great finish. Scottie was in scrambling mode yesterday but after losing the 4 shot lead he took advntage of Hadwins mistakes and rebuilt that 4 shot lead.

Original weather forecast for tournament was questionable, However the forecast for today is ideal, mid 70s, and some windy conditions.

Depends on where in Michigan you are going. Agree with Gip that Arcadia Bluffs is a must if you are near there. Have played it three times. It is beautiful with amazing views of Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. It is also extremely difficult but a lot of fun. Other courses in the area that I have played include Bahle Farms but I don't remember a lot about it. There are some really nice courses around Lansing also.

I tried to watch some of the tournament this afternoon but found it terribly boring? I use to thoroughly enjoy watching golf but not so much anymore. Growing older may be part of the reason but not entirely!:(
