Big series for the Huskies

Wow. Penix missed a receiver who could have skipped to the end zone.

 

He missed the guy in the end zone earlier too.

 

Huskies with a critical stop. Another TD might have turned the game into Ga-TCU.

 

Much needed 3 and out for the Huskies. Then with the opportunity to pin the Huskies deep the UM punter puts it into the endzone. Washington has to get a score on this drive.

 

Penix made that type of throw a bunch of times vs Texas.

 

He doesn’t look sharp at all.

 

Washington clawing its way back into the game.

 

Don't know how Michigan isn't up 28-3 or something like that. If somehow Washington can score coming out of the half, whoa boy.

 

Thought we threw away two possessions in the 2Q by getting away from the run game. We had a chance to knock W out in the first half but they are still alive and Penix is starting to settle in.

I thought UM was going to get a quick TD, but UW forces the FG instead.

Is Penix hurt? I'm sure they'll tape him up or something but can he be effective with a bad wheel?

 

Penix doesn’t have a 20 yd pass play. They aren’t even trying to throw downfield.

 

I guess he's ok, but settled for another FG.

 

He got rolled up by his lineman but seems ok.

 

Unlike the Texas game he doesn't have the time, UM defense is making him unload it quickly.

 

Another UM punt. Has Washington figured out the UM running game?

 

McCarthy’s legs got M out of a big hole near its end zone. But offense definitely has lost its momentum. Fortunately Penix is not hitting passes he usually hits.

 

After the Rose Bowl, looks like we decided to eliminate the punt return from the arsenal.
