I've been trying to shoot a turkey for several years, and can't get within 200 yds of the damned things.
Its so obvious... go to a golf course!

 

When we are in New Hampshire in the summer we see Wild Turkey's all the time around the golf course that we play up there, but I've never been approached by any of them!
