I agree with all of the above. Clearly the coaches are outraged and believe the behavior was egregious and provided a clear and material competitive advantage. I can't speak for Krebsie but I didn't believe he is suggesting that they shouldn't be punished for their behavior if the actions are true as alleged, I interpreted his comments as the NCAA needs to get it's head out of it's arse and follow the NFL lead, ASAP. Every reason to do so now and no plausible reason not to... In terms of punishment, I'll wait for a more thorough understanding of the facts, but in principle I do believe, as the coaches suggested, that they can't continue to benefit in 2023 now that their behavior has come to light
Hey, I've got an idea. Let's let the quarterback call the plays on the field and/or shuttle the plays in with substitutes from the sidelines. There's innovation for you!
Purdue Coach Walters getting ready to travel to Ann Arbor this weekend gives his take, "...what's crazy is they aren't allegations, it happened." Gotta believe the host team is not looking to be very hospitable. Interesting to see how the team reacts, they haven't played since the evidence has been made public
I hadn't realized how much the Huskers have improved over the season, win today and they are bowl eligible. Plus at 4-2 they have a legitimate shot at the Big 10 West and a berth in the Big 10 Championship game. One the topic of Michigan State. According to a report from Rivals.com's Spartans Illustrated, MSU's athletic department is "heavily interested" in at least four current college coaches for its vacancy — Kansas' Lance Leipold, Oregon State's Jonathan Smith, Wake Forest's Dave Clawson and Washington State's Jake Dickert. The report does not suggest that these are the only candidates Michigan State is considering, but Spartans Illustrated does believe each of these four are near the top of MSU's list of options.
Looking at other scores. Buckeyes down to Rutgers 9-7 ..a surprise but a half to go unlikely to hold Mich State/Neb tied at half ..I expected the Huskers to thump them. Still could of course Arkansas/Fla tied at half...Hogs have not been good this year, surprised they are in the game at the Swamp. Texas up 17-7 on KState. Not much offense from KState so far. Ole Miss 20-14 over A&M ...Jaxon Dart already has 240 yds passing to Max Johnson's 77.
Wow the Longhorns escape, winning in OT 33-30 when KState decided to go for it on 4th and goal from the 4 and failed. Looked like A&M and Ole Miss played a barn burner with Kiffin and company coming out on top 38-35 Gators and Arkansas are going to OT. Huskers lost at Michigan State...I really thought they'd win.
Was out harvesting a buck today, so missed the game. I see the Ags drove down into scoring range at the end, then had the tying field goal blocked. Par for the course this year...
A couple of top teams in a little trouble. Georgia and Missouri tied at the half 10-10 FSU only leads Pitt who was crushed last week by ND by 3 10-7
Florida fans are voting on Billy Napier with their butts...as not being in the seats at the swamp. The loss to a bad Arkansas team isn't going to make it better. Next home game is bitter rival FSU...
FSU getting control of the game at Pitt and starting to pull away. Mizzou is losing but giving UGA a good fight. OU/Oklahoma State is a barn burner. OSU just scored and is up 24-21 mid 4th qtr.
Oklahoma State gets away with a PI in the endzone, their guy basically tackled Drake Stoops. Forced an FG from OU and they still lead 27-24 with 4 minutes.
Oklahoma State holds on for the win. That's a big win for the Longhorns as well , OU now has 2 conference losses and loses the tie breaker with Texas.
Jayden Daniels! Game tied 14-14. I love the way Jayden Daniels plays, to me he's as talented as Caleb Williams and a lot more likeable.
Wow 2 great drives, one by Milroe and the Tide and then with very little time left Jayden Daniels drives them for the score to tie the game at 21-21. LSU gets the ball to open the 2nd half. Milroe is impressive running the ball.
