Eh, there's only one game that matters this week, and it's in College Station. Put up yer dukes kp!!!
ha! I guess you forgot about the biggest game of the weekend. Texas/OU! Future SEC teams. Huge game for the Longhorns and their playoff hopes. Big game for OU esp after the 49-0 whipping they got from the Longhorns last year!
We have Wed games this week, but all minor league. Thurs games are the same. Friday games KState @ OKState Big in the B12. KState took a non-conf loss to Missouir but still are in the race with OU and Texas for the B12 Champioship. OKState not really in the B12 race. Neb @ Illinois Both are 0-2 in the Big 10. Both desperately need a win. Saturday Georgia @ Kentucky Both undefeated, Dawgs had to go the distance with an average at best Auburn squad. Kentucky boat raced the Gators at home. Their RB got almost 300 yards rushing. I think Georgia has a bit better defense than Florida. Georgia still #1, but maybe not as awesome as the last 2 squads. Michigan @ Minnesota. I don't think there is a boat big enough for PJ Fleck to get his team to row to victory over this Michigan squad. Texas vs Oklahoma As always the biggest game on both teams schedule. Longhorns have more talent and that isn't Bob Stoops over on the other sideline. Ohio State vs Maryland The Terps are 5-0 and do have a veteran little brother of Tua at QB. Buckeyes have had the week off to prepare and recover from the big game in South Bend. FSU vs Va.Tech Healthy 'Noles vs a mediocre Hokie squad whose coach is on the hot seat. Should be a FSU roll. Penn State vs Open Date. Oregon @ Washington. Huge game for both, both top 10 programs, both have very experienced QB's whose career's were rescued by their transfer from previous schools. Pennix vs Nix. Heisman type of QB's. USC vs Arizona Another chance for Caleb Williams to pad his incredible stats. Notre Dame @ Louisville The Cards are 5-0 and have another one of thoe 6th year QB's in Jack Plummer. He's faced ND at Purdue, at CAL and now as the Louisville QB. It's set to be the biggest game of the Louisville season to date and like Duke last week they are expecting a record crowd. Irish will need to find their offense again after Ohio State and Duke both slowed us down quite a bit. Alabama @ Texas A&M. The Aggies really got after the Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson, sacked him all day long. He probably is still feeling the effects. So the question is can they handle the Alabama OL and Jalen Milroe like they did Arkansas. Longhorns got after Alabama QB's pretty well, have the Tide fixed that? Should be a very good game, a must win for the Tide also for the Aggies. Washington State @ UCLA The 2nd biggest game of the weekend in the Pac 12. UCLA expected to be a contender in the Pac12, Wazzu not so much. But they have found a QB and are dangerous as ever. Lots of other good games as we go into the meat of most teams schedules, puff games are fewer and fewer. Enjoy!
Don, Taulia is clearly a good QB and he's a 5th year senior and it's his 3rd year in the system. I'm not sure he's faced any defenses that are even average. So as you said, wait and see.
This year a cupcake feast for the Wolverines. Next year, it’s a dinner date with Hannibal Lecter--road games against Washington and Ohio State and at home against Michigan State, Oregon and USC, not to mention a non-conference game against Texas at Michigan Stadium.
Player photos from the Colorado School of Mines, a highly regarded engineering school. Definitely had a team contest over whose photo would be the most outlandish!
This is a legit Terps squad, will be a battle. They're 5-0 and 15-5 in their last 20 games. Explosive offense with quality QB, should be another good test for the defense. Hope to see the OL take a step forward this week after a tough battle in SB, watch McCord continue to mature after his coming out party and really anxious to see the health of MHJr after the ankle. Rumor has it that he's "fine", that he'll play but....we'll see. It's a much different offense without him on the field. Much of the production from Egbuka and Stover in SB was due, in large part, to the Irish taking him away as a viable option. I'd like to say we'll reload and next man up and all that but we don't have another one of those sitting on the bench
If we can score early, I would love to see us test our running backs to eat up the clock a bit. Their defense will be a good challenge for us to see if we have improved on the short yardage situations. No doubt Tug will try to shake thing up in the air attack. Looking forward to the 12:00 time slot as well. Night games are difficult fo me anymore.
Hope to see him on the field tomorrow, staff and players all speak highly of him. Love to see a repeat of Chris Olave's frosh breakout game in a few weeks
