Back in the summer when I was moaning something about the Astros, Krebs chimed in and predicted that the Rangers would fold down the stretch and the Astros would win the division. I thought he was wrong the team just didn't seem to have it, and well he was right the Rangers did fold and somehow the Astros took advantage and won 5 out of their last 6 to tie them for the Division and win with Tie breakers.

Have lottery numbers to share George?:D

Another Brewers season ends with a whimper and a kick in the balls.

Counsel not sending in a pinch runner for Donaldson and having Winker pinch hit again makes me wonder if he was preoccupied thinking about buying a condo in New York.

That was disappointing Bobda. I wanted the Crew to do well to represent the NLC. Now all I have to look forward to are prime time Friday night CFB games....:(

Tampa Bay packed in crowds of 19,000 for their two home games. This franchise needs to find a new home.

Astros take care of the Twins in 4!

Late September I gave up on them after we couldn't beat the 2 worst teams in the AL, the A's and the Royals.

I thought having to finish at Seattle and Phoenix was just to much, but we take 2 out 3 in Seattle and swept the D'Backs while the Rangers were taking gas and we end up AL West champions.

Rangers are hot now and swept the best team in the regular season in the Orioles.

Fireworks in the ALCS Rangers and Astros don't like each other.

My Yankees went 82-80 which was there 31st straight winning season but by any other criteria they had an awful year. The three teams that finished ahead of them in the AL East, Baltimore, Toronto and Tampa finished the playoffs a combined 0-7 and they score a composite 12 runs. Baseball sure is a funny game.

Rangers v Astros has developed into a true rivalry. That series could produce some bench clearing fireworks.

I don't know why we are so bad at home. But we have been all season.

Jeter said last night that there has never been a team in the WS who had a losing record at home. That's the Astros

Houston has some heavy lifting to do now, down 0-2 and looking at three games on the road. Texas is peaking at the perfect time.

Well that was a dramatic win tonight! Altuve hits a 3 run HR in the top of the 9th to beat the Rangers and sweep them in Arlington. A bit of a dust up when Brian Abreu hit Garcia, who had also hit a 3 run homer to give the Rangers a 4-2 lead and was a jerk on the bases. But the odd thing was that he and Maldanado have a feud for some reason and when he got hit he went after Maldy not Abreu. He, Abreu and Dusty were all tossed after the benches cleared.

Astros go home leading 3-2, it's just like 2019 when we swept the Nationals in Washington and came home leading 3-2 and they won both games in Houston to get the series.

We have Frambler Valdez going Sunday night, but he's not been reliable lately so that is worrisome.

But I have to say I thought the Rangers might win 2 in Arlington to close us out in 4 or 5 games.

Altuve is creeping closer to Manny for most HR's hit in the Post season.

I can't believe the Astros couldn't win one freaking game at home.

In the end though they had a losing record at home and no team with that record has ever made the WS.

Questions abound, starting with will Dusty return, his contract is up.
    I favor Dusty retiring
